유치원 교사의 교육신념이 역할수행에 미치는 영향 = (The) Effect of Educational Beliefs of Kindergarten Teachers on the Role Performance

Ⅰ . Purpose
The purpose of this study was to identify the types of teachers' educational beliefs and role performance and to investigate the effect of educational beliefs of kindergarten teachers' on the Role Performance
In order to achieve above purpose, the following problems were formulated.
Problem 1: Are there differences in the educational beliefs of kindergarten teachers by teachers' educational background and career?
Problem 2: Are there differences in the role performance of kindergarten teachers by teachers' educational background and career?
Problem 3: What is the relationship between kindergarten teachers' educational beliefs and their role performance?
Ⅱ. Method
The subjects of this study were 250 kindergarten teachers from kindergartens randomly selected among kindergartens in Incheon.
The questionnaire in this study was consisted of two parts. The first part on the educational beliefs was consisted of 27 items and the second part on the role performance was consisted of 16 items.
The data were analyzed by the method of t-test and ANOVA. And the significant level is α=.05.
Ⅲ. Results
1. The level of kindergarten teachers' educational beliefs was generally high.
2. There was a significant differences between university-graduate kindergarten teachers and junior college-graduate kindergarten teachers in the educational beliefs.
3. There were significant differences among kindergarten teachers' career in the educational beliefs.
4. The level of kindergarten teachers' role performance was generally high.
5. There was a significant differences between university-graduate kindergarten teachers and junior college-graduate kindergarten teachers in the role performance.
6. There were significant differences among kindergarten teachers' career in the role performance.
7. There was a significant relation between the interactionism and counselors and advisors role performance. And there was a significant relation between the maturationism and curriculum planners role performance.
