수산계 고등학교 학생들의 교육 만족도에 관한 연구 = (A) Study on the Educational satisfaction of fisheries high school students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 수산계 고등학교 학생들의 교육 만족도를 조사·분석함으로써 수산교육의 활성화 방안을 모색할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다.
연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 수산계 고등학교 학생들의 '진학동기'는 대부분 좋지 못한 중학교 성적 때문인 것으로 나타났으며, 적성에 맞거나 수·해운 분야의 직업 선택을 위해서 진학한 경우는 소수에 불과 하였다.
둘째, '교육목표에 대한 만족도'는 전체 평균이 3.106으로 보통으로 나타났다. 성별로는 여학생이 남학생보다 낮게 나타났고, 학년별로는 고학년이 될수록 낮아졌다.
셋째, '교육과정에 대한 만족도'는 전체 평균이 3.008로 보통으로 나타났다. 성별로는 여학생이 남학생보다 낮게 나타났고, 학년별로는 고학년이 될수록 낮아졌으며, 특별활동의 적절성 및 전문교과의 난이도에서 만족도가 낮게 나타났다.
넷째, '교육 시설 및 실험·실습 시설에 대한 만족도'는 전체 평균이 3.142로 보통으로 나타났다. 성별로는 여학생이 남학생보다 낮게 나타났고, 학년별로는 고학년이 될수록 낮아졌으며, 정보화 시설 및 설비에 대한 여학생들의 만족도가 낮게 나타났다.
다섯째, '교사의 교수·학습 방법에 대한 만족도'는 전체 평균이 3.059로 보통으로 나타났다. 성별로는 여학생이 남학생보다 낮게 나타났고, 학년별로는 2학년의 만족도가 가장 낮게 나타났으며, 체험학습 및 현장실습에 대한 여학생들의 만족도가 낮게 나타났다.
여섯째, '교사의 자질 및 지도 능력에 대한 만족도'는 전체 평균이 2.979로 보통으로 나타났다. 성별로는 여학생이 남학생보다 낮게 나타났고, 학년별로는 2학년의 만족도가 가장 낮게 나타났으며, 선생님들의 학생 이해 및 친절에 대한 만족도가 낮게 나타났다.
일곱째, '진로지도에 대한 만족도'는 전체 평균이 3.004로 보통으로 나타났다. 성별로는 여학생이 남학생보다 낮게 나타났고, 학년별로는 고학년이 될수록 낮아졌으며, 산업체와의 산학협동에 대한 만족도가 낮게 나타났다.
이상의 연구 결과를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 내린다.
첫째, 수·해운 분야에 적성이 맞는 우수한 학생들이 수산계 고등학교를 진학하여 수·해운 분야에서 중추적인 역할을 담당할 수 있는 유능한 기능인을 길러 낼 수 있도록 수산교육의 활성화 방안이 국가차원으로 이루어져야 한다.
둘째, 사회의 변화에 부응할 수 있는 교육 목표의 설정과 교육 과정의 개발·운영 및 학생들의 능력과 수준에 맞는 교수·학습 방법의 개발이 이루어져야 한다.
셋째, 학생들의 기대에 부응하고 세계화 및 정보화 사회에 앞서갈 수 있는 수·해양인을 양성할 수 있도록 실험·실습 시설의 확충 및 실험·실습 장비의 첨단화가 꾸준하게 이루어져야 한다.
넷째, 학생입장에서 학생들을 이해하며 처별이 아닌 사랑을 심어주는 부모님으로서의 선생님 역할과 진학과 취업을 동시에 충족시킬 수 있는 진로지도에 대책이 한층 더 강구되어야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to present the data for finding the active program in the fishery education by investigating and analyzing the educational satisfaction of fisheries high school students.
The findings of this study can be summarized as following:
First, the main reason of the motive for applying the fisheries high school is because of the low academic achievement in the junior high school. Few of students responded that they wanted to get a job related with fisheries and marine fitting to their aptitude.
Second, Students are a little satisfied with the educational goals on the average as 3.106. With distinction of sex, boy students are more satisfied with it than girl students and very few of students satisfied with it as becoming their grade higher and higher.
Third, Students' satisfaction on the education curriculum is 3.008 as medium on the average. Similarly, boy students are more satisfied with it than girl students and very few of students satisfied with it as becoming their grade higher and higher. In detail, Students are little satisfied with the quality of extra class activity and they think it's difficult for them to study the subject related to the major field of study.
Forth, Satisfaction on the educational environment and facilities of experimental practice is showed medium on the average as 3.142. With distinction of sex, boy students are more satisfied with it than girl students and very few of students satisfied with it as becoming their grade higher and higher. As this research shows, girl students are dissatisfied with the information technology equipment and facility.
Fifth, The degree of satisfaction of students on the quality and method of teaching they given is middle, as average 3.059. Similarly, boy students are more satisfied with it than girl students and second grade students are lower satisfied with it than any other grade students. In detail, the degree of satisfaction of girl students on the practical training, experience learning is very low.
Sixth, Satisfaction on the quality and ability of teachers is showed medium as 2.979 on the average. Similarly, boy students are more satisfied with it than girl students and second grade students are lower satisfied with it than any other grade students. They are dissatisfied with the teacher's unkindness and they think teachers don't understand them well.
Seventh, The degree of satisfaction of students on the guidance counseling about vocation or counseling on choice of college is showed 2.979 as medium on the average. In detail, boy students are more satisfied with it than girl students and second grade students are lower satisfied with it than any other grade students. Especially, they are little satisfied with the relationship between the school and the industry.
From the findings of this study, the result in conclusions as follows:
First, We encourage students with excellence in the fisheries and marine to enter the fisheries high school. Moreover, governments have to make the system to promote the active program of fisheries education for fostering excellent skilled manpower in the field of the fisheries and marine.
Second, We have to establish educational goals and develop a education curriculum accepting changed demands. In addition, we try to develop a new learning and teaching method applicable to each student.
Third, It is necessary to expand and improve the experimental practice facility and to gradually update the experimental equipment with high technology.
Forth, We, teachers not only try to understand students and love them like our own as their parents do, but try to take a proper measure for satisfying students with guidance counseling to help them both getting job and going on to college.
