      This is an experiment study to derive CSF(Critical Success Factors) when building the web-based remote educational systems using interaction between instructors and learners, and the study's aim is to elevate learners' study results and satisfaction degrees.
      CSFs to be considered when building web-based remote educational system are convenience to use the system, process-speed, screen design & contents, functional aspect, study-effect-promotion, study-hour-reduction, helpfulness for individual study, discussion-classwork or various multimedia technologies, harmonious communication between instructors and learners or between learners and learners, corporative study of learners, leisure hours, hours for preparing homework, time for retrieval, attendance-confirmation, convenience to operate the system, easiness to add new functions, change functions, modify functions according to environment-changes, easiness to test, compatibility, convenience of lecture-note download and homework-presentation, satisfaction-feeling about the system.
      Besides these CSFs, other factors required are developing the accomplishment-degree appraisal-system proper for the remote education, operation-strategies of the system, expanding educational courses and opportunities through strategic cooperation with other sites, developing educational contents reflecting instruction-studying process, developing various remote educational service platforms.
      This study proved possibility to build the effective web-based remote educational system by means of integration of three elements like element of theory-centeredness, element of technology-centeredness, and study-effect promotion. This study's results are to be used in the practical and transcendental side, in order that corporations that built the web-based remote educational system already and organizations that are to develop the web-based remote educational system in the future could introduce operate the system as well as build the system successfully. Our country is activating the remote education in recent, like foreign countries, therefore, these study results could be used as a useful index-materials when developing individuals' lecture-materials.
      Future study-tasks are as follows.
      First, this study didn't do an experiment toward each technological element in detail, because its study-range is too wide to be dealt with in one report. It remained future study-work to be done.
      Second, many limits are found in doing instructing-studying works through the web-based remote educational system toward students in the whole country and checking success-factors according to those instructing-studying work-results. The experiment should be done toward more students in a wider area, and future studies need be demonstrative ones toward students in the whole country.
      Third, technological elements out of CSFs of the web-based remote educational system were measured, but pedagogical elements were not measured. Therefore, studies cooperative with professors majoring in pedagogy are required.
