학교건강증진사업 활성화방안 연구 : 학교운영위원회의 학교보건에 대한 인식을 중심으로 = (A) Study on the Activation of School Health Promotion : From the Perspective of School Governing Committee on School Health

An objective of this study is to seek better strategies that School Governing Committee can play some important roles a s a support organization for school health promotion by uniting the characteristics of School Governing Committee and the definition of Health Promoting School. For his study, the organizational characteristics of School Governing Committee was analyzed by literature review and the School Governing Committee member's perception on school health was conducted by questionnaire research. The research outcomes are a s follow;
School Governing Committee members consider food hygiene, school feeding, student health examination a s good operation areas and mental health, health education, nutrition care, oral hygiene program a s bad operation areas. They want to collaborate with the organization of the local community on the bad operation areas. As for the support organization for school health promotion activity 52.8% of the respondents suggested that separate committee be organized a s a support group because of lacking specialty, an 44.2% said that School Governing Committee itself can be used a s a support group. It means that School Governing Committee members consider community organization a s collaborating structure but don't believe that it can play some important roles a s a support organization for school health promotion. Even if there was disputed something that School Governing Committee was leaded to the administration and early stage of the introduction it was leaded by schoolmaster, School Governing Committee is being settled as self-governing body in school through operating a s a model and making up the deficiency of it.
As the research outcomes, I suggest to a s follows ;
1. School health promotion subcommittee will be organized in the School Governing Committee to discuss about school health promotion program. 2. The education program for School Governing Committee members has to be include about school health promotion to develop their specialty for school governing process.
3. The education program for School Governing Committee members are deal with first bad operation areas. And I suggest that program was operated with public health center, a related collage, private organization.
