방과후 아동보육의 실태와 활성화 방안 = The Actual Condition and Activation Plans of Child care After School in Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of study is to find out a slump for the enforcement of child care-program after school in child care and education centers still now in spite of being endowed with a qualification for law about child care after school in the first time and provide basic material which helps activation of child care program after school in child care and education by showing a plan for a solution.
To do this, I looked into the rate of recognition for program, the present condition of after school hours program in nurture facilities now and the obstacle of conducting program and desired supporting plan in target for facilities. The results are as follows:
1) The rate of recognition for after school program in child care and education centers.
First, as analysis results of necessity and reason for child care after school, 85.15% persons among all respondents need it and 78% respondent approve of a plan in the pros and cons for working plan of child care program after school in child care and education centers.
Second, child care after school demand does not almost exist in all facilities more than a majority. It was contrasted with the results that more than 80% persons desired to attend the program in the child care after school demand research with a target of mother who is employed
Third, 91.75% persons showed their will to participate at the reeducation for child care after school on the child care and education centers and their desired subjects are shown in the order of children psychology, program development, children counselling, homework and study education
Forth, As a result of research investigation, it was found that very few were aware of the relevant articles about 'child care after school among the enforcement rule, law of young child care.
Fifth, person who passed leader course for after school hours is the most preferred in the qualification for teacher. As regards the standard of teacher disposition, unlike the rule that 30 children shall be per one teacher, the majority of researcher subject persons responded that 15 children below are appropriate per one teacher.
It can be seen from this research that in reality reeducation and public information about child care and education centers is lacking and recognition of child care program is low after school, despite that most of research subject persons take the program affirmative and is very high in participating at reeducation. Besides, It can be seen that the detailed articles in the column of teacher qualification and their disposition standard, training and nurturing expenses and costs among the law of child care not do play a role of the activation of program but obstacle.
2) present condition of after-the school program in child care and education center and improvement plans.
First, The place where child are program is coming in force accounts for 35% of the whole subject persons of study, and researcher has optionally distributed to facilities which is coming in force child care program. So it can not be seen that it is not a percentage of child care education center in Chungchongbukdo and chongwon area.
Second, As regards the type of teacher in these facilities. An exclusive teacher section facilities accounts for 68.57%. this figure proves that there are some difficulties in expecting a professionalism for child care. Third, It can be seen that the biggest troubles, which is raised when child care comes into force after school in child care the most weight of desired aid agenda accounts for personnel expenses and next is the establishing of legality for program development and child care after school. The professionalism for contents and formality of teacher and program was lacking in present condition of after-the school hours program in child care education centers and it is recognized that many child care education centers have the necessity for child care enforcement after the school. In spite of which, the enforcement of program after school is low due to the above raised troubles.
