한국 근현대시의 동학사상 연구 : 경천(敬天)사상을 중심으로 = A Study on the Dong-hak Thoughts of Korean Modern Poetry

When we considered the DongHak, Kyeongcheon-Thought was an idea that had newly formed through criticising Confucianism. Besides, it is the more meaningful that the idea which is possessed up-to-date between the ruling class changes to the nation's idea.
Kyeongcheon-Thought of DongHak has been used the literary materials as a conquerable alternative of our nation critical contradictory. This idea has been well- welcomed to the nation, because it has the accumulated political·social·economical domestic based contradictory and the fact that protected our people and nation from a foreign country's invasion. As we presented a rough sketch of the beginning of the world approaching to the people, this idea gave our nation belief and hope.
While we recognized our rapid changes' contemporary contradictory, Kyeongcheon-Thought presented way how to sole the problem. When the foreign threaten our nation life with their power, we completed the poems and songs in order to defend our self-esteem emphasized on the boycott against Japanese and the Equalitarianism. When the national life fell into extreme distress caused to administrator's contradictory and corruption, Kyeongcheon-Thought which had received the energy from considering our nation from one race carefully had been poetic materials as the idea of the man is equal to the heaven and the idea of acquired opening the future. At the mode of life, we can see Kyeongcheon-Thought to the background which consists of expressing various elements in the lyric and epic poetry by Kyeongcheon-Thought of all things deify Heaven. At the part of describing the nature, it is also an important thing as much as the human being and it supports Kyeongcheon-Thought. In the point of women and children, alike to the mode of life, these view-points play the supporter of expressing the not understood the importance, but required to be more stressed other factors at the point of the our national crisis.
A DongHak folk song is mainly sung by the people around the Donghak Revolution. This folk song is relevantly and efficiently expressed by the symbol and the simile and more is short. In the state of tension around the Revolution, this form can be an essential device intended to be dwelled short but strong instigation, taking more fast and persuasive spread into consideration.
While the lyric poetry is considered the Revolution and the contemporary poet as the same rank and sentimentalized, the epic poetry is expressed the more active succession will of Kyeongcheon-Thought. Therefore, we required more a long epic style(like a narrative form) than a short lyric style. The epic poetry is narrated directly and understood easily asking for changing the national active point of view. According to the contemporary circumstances, the changes, and the authors' purposes, there were the Gasa(a form of the epic poetry), a folk song, a lyric poetry, and an epic poetry in the form of poetry and the poet used various techniques like as the indicative mood, the symbol, the metaphor, the repetition, and the vocative. But we can not see any changes in poetic expression thought contents.
From DongHak Gasa, the folk song, the lyric poetry to the epic poetry, Kyeongcheon-Thought has something to do with these poetries. We confirmed this Thought was a stream of modern literature history and whenever our nation met with the crisis this Thought used its energy to the full and contributed to solve the crisis.
Lately, Kyeongcheon-Thought of DongHak and the leaders of DongHak Revolution were expressed on the Korean modern poetry. Considering the attempts of DongHak revival as a conquerable alternative of our nation critical contradictory, we did not yet come true the dream of DongHak.
Whenever we met the crisis of our nation and our nation authors, within their real thoughts, wanted the succession of the spirits of DongHak and Kyeongcheon-Thought in the near future, we will have to expand the literary area on the basis of our constant energy.
