      The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of clinical supervision on small group science activity in kindergarten. The participants for ones study are four kindergarten teacher, twenty-four children, four clinical supervisor and eleven instruction supervisor that four clinical supervisor apply the clinical supervision on small group science activity in kindergarten.
      Accordingly, following questions for the proposal are raised:
      1. What is the basic structure of the model development of linking-clinical supervision for the small group science activity in kindergarten?
      2. Are there significantly efficient difference experiment group more than control group which the model development of linking-clinical supervision for improvement of instruction, small group science activity in kindergarten?
      To find the answers in these questions, literatures related to this subject especially in the fields of clinical supervision, small group activity, science activity, effective instruction design and evaluative instrument are surveyed. And after various the model clinical supervision analyzed and developed in the model development of linking-clinical supervision. The model development of linking-clinical supervision is composed of seven stage. For instruction improvement, the small group science activity in kindergarten both of children and teachers are applied the model linking-clinical supervision.
      The period of experiment was the 3 weeks, one put into effect to make difference according to the experiment design. After all of the experiment, eleven instruction supervisor evaluated the checklist on the small group science activity of teachers and children simultaneously to see the videotape, which evaluation so that one would get better reliability and objectivity. The evaluate instruments were made base on literatures and prior study related to this subject. The method of analytic research were both of quantity·quality analysis method.
      Each evaluate instruments were gathered and analysed by means of the electronic data processing program SPSSWIN/PC 8.0 and the method of statistics in the study were such as t test, paired t-test, ANOVA, post-hoc test, Tukey. Through test significance level set up for the verification of this study is p<.05 or p<.01. All of the contents the process of linking-clinical supervision were gathered and analysed by quality method.
      The findings of the study are as follows:
      First, the model development of linking-clinical supervision was composed of seven stage. Each stage was set up the object of clinical supervision, link between inside and outside clinical supervisor, prior supervision conference, prior meeting, instruction observation, post meeting, post supervision conference.
      Second, linking-clinical supervision was effective improvement of instruction, small group science activity both of teachers and children.
      Especially there were effective children more than teachers improvement of instruction, small group science activity in kindergarten.
      In conclusion and suggestion are as follows:
      First, the basic structure of the model development of linking- clinical supervision for small group science activity in kindergarten included the basic three process of the clinical supervision, link between inside and outside clinical supervisor and the prior/post supervision conference. Therefore it was objectively and systematic model and proper one's the actual circumstances kindergarten in Korea.
      Second, however systemic the model may be, it was temporary or formality that there were ineffective improvement of instruction, small group science activity, that was the more times the more of linking-clinical supervision was effective ones both of teachers and children.
      Suggestions for follow up, one need to develope the supervisor training program for speciality supervisor which the subject career teacher, head teacher and headmaster. The follow study need to verify on the instruction effect by teacher's individual difference and other activity effect except science activity that applied the model development of linking-clinical supervision.
