부모의 양육환경이 자녀에게 미치는 변인과의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인간은 능동적인 개체로서 환경과의 역동적인 상호작용을 통하여 성장 발달한다. 특히 유아는 주변환경에 대한 끊임없는 흥미와 호기심, 그리고 왕성한 활동력을 가지고 적극적으로 주변환경을 탐색하고 반응하는 과정을 통해 발달한다.
가정은 인간이 출생하여 자라고 최초로 경험하는 사회적 환경으로 기본적인 행동양식을 배워나가게 되는 가장 기초적인 교육이 이루어지는 곳이다. 즉, 무력한 존재로 세상에 태어나 부모의 양육과 보호 속에 자라면서 점차 그 사회에 어울려 살아갈 수 있는 행동, 가치, 지식들을 습득하게 된다.
가정이 자녀의 성장발달에 중요한 영향을 미친다는 사실은 “가정보다 더 나은 학교는 없고, 부모보다 더 영향력이 큰 교사는 없다”는 말로써 그 중요함을 엿볼 수 있다.
부모의 역할은 인간의 여러 역할 중에서 가장 중요하다. 따라서 오늘날의 자녀교육은 부모교육의 중요성을 강조하고 있으며 부모역할에 의한 자녀에게 미치는 영향력은 미뤄 짐작해도 그 과중한 의미를 헤아릴 수 있다.
현실적으로 많은 부모들이 자녀를 잘 키워보겠다는 강한 욕구를 지녔음에도 불구하고 대부분의 부모들은 자녀와의 대화 과정에서 적절한 지식과 대화 기술의 부족으로 인하여 어떤 문제상황에 접하면, 구체적인 해결방법을 강구하기보다는 초반의 의사소통에서부터 갈등을 일으키게 되고 문제 해결은커녕 더욱 자녀와의 관계가 악화되고 마는 경우가 종종 있다.
부모와 자녀간의 바람직한 관계야말로 자녀의 올바른 성장과 발달을 돕는데 필수 불가결한 요소이며 부모의 역할에 대한 교육이야말로 현대 사회에서 빼놓을 수 없는 중요한 과제임에 틀림이 없다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Man is a voluntary individual, who grows and develops by having a dynamic interaction with an environment. Particularly infants develop by having an incessant interest and curiosity, searching and reacting to the surroundings with vigor.
Home is a place where man is born and brought up. It is a social environment to which man is first exposed enabling them to learn man's basic code of conduct. Infants are born as a helpless being and gradually acquire the behavior pattern, values and knowledge that will help them to live in harmony with a society where they live, under the parents' guidance and protection.
We have no doubt that home plays an important role in influencing the children's growth and development, as the saying goes, "There is no school better than home, and no teacher better than parents."
The roles of the parents are the most important ones that man can play about anything. For this reason children's education of today emphasizes the importance of the parents' education. This is understandable when we think of the parents' roles influencing the children's education.
In reality parents often experience difficulties in their relationship with the children due to lack of knowledge and communication skills, though they have a strong desire to bring them up well. The problem is they often have troubles from the very beginning of the communication with the children even before they could touch on the topic at issue, not to mention settling the problems in a concrete way, thereby aggravating the relationship with the children.
It may be the most essential part helping the children's growth and development to establish a desirable relationship between parents and children. In a modern society it is therefore most important task to educate parents about their constructive and positive roles in children's education.
