대학생의 성별, 계열별에 따른 사상체질 및 자아방어기제 연구 = (The) Study on Sasang Constitution and The Ego Defense Mechanism according to Sex and Academic Category of College Students'

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 성별, 계열별에 따른 사상체질과 자아방어기제의 유형에 어떠한 차이가 있는가를 알아보고자 하는 목적으로 실시되었다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다.
첫째, 대학생의 자아방어기제 유형의 일반적인 경향은 어떠한가?
둘째, 대학생의 성별에 따른 자아방어기제 유형의 차이는 어떠한가?
셋째, 대학생의 계열에 따른 자아방어기제 유형의 차이는 어떠한가?
넷째, 대학생의 성별 및 계열에 따른 사상체질별 차이는 어떠한가?
다섯째, 대학생의 사상체질에 따른 자아방어기제 유형의 차이는 어떠한가?
연구의 대상은 부산광역시에 소재한 D대학교 남·여 학생 270명으로 본 연구에서 사용된 측정도구는 이화여자대학교에서 1991년에 공동 개발한 이화방어기제검사(EDMT: Ewha Defense Mechanism Test)와 1995년에 김선호와 경희의료원 한방병원 사상학과에서 공동으로 개발한 사상체질분류검사지 QSCCⅡ(QSCC: Questionnaire for the Sasang Constitution Classification)를 사용하였다.
본 연구의 자료처리를 위해서는 SPSS WIN 8.0을 사용하였으며 구체적으로 사상체질별, 성별, 계열별 자아방어기제 유형의 차이를 알아보기 위해서 다변량분석fmultiple ANOVA)을 실시하였으며, 사상체질별 유형분포에 있어 성별·계열간에 차이가 있는가를 알아보기 위하여 카이자승(chi-square)검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과에서 도출한 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 자아방어기제 유형의 일반적인 경향을 알아보면 동일시가 가장 높고 반동형성, 통제, 억제, 퇴행, 유우머 등도 비교적 높다. 가장 낮은 방어기제는 부정이며 승화, 행동화 등도 낮다.
둘째, 성별에 따라 자아방어기제 유형에는 차이가 있다. 투사, 부정, 왜곡, 수동-공격, 신체화, 퇴행, 통제, 합리화, 억제, 예견, 해리 기제가 유의미하다. 퇴행, 신체화, 해리, 전치 등은 여학생이 남학생에 비하여 더 많이 사용하고 억제, 왜곡, 예견, 합리화는 남학생이 여학생에 비해 더 많이 사용한다.
셋째, 계열에 따른 자아방어기제 유형의 차이는 동일시가 인문계열과 자연 계열 모두에게 매우 유의미하고, 합리화, 예견, 반동형성 등이 유의미하게 나타났다. 예견, 합리화는 자연계열학생이 인문계열학생에 비하여 더 많이 사용하며, 동일시, 반동형성은 인문계열학생이 자연계열학생에 비하여 더 많이 사용한다.
넷째, 사상체질별에 따른 성별의 차이는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없고, 계열에 따른 차이는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있다 인문계열은 자연 계열에 비해 소음인이 많고, 자연계열은 인문계열에 비해 태음인의 수가 많다. 그러나 소양인은 계열별로 유의미한 차이가 없다.
다섯째, 사상체질별로 본 자아방어기제 유형의 차이로는 반동형성, 통제, 억제, 행동화, 유우머, 회피 방어기제가 유의미하다. 소양인은 통제, 행동화, 유우머가 높으며, 소음인은 반동형성, 억제, 회피가 높고 태음인은 통제, 억제가 높다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine difference in college students' Sasang constitution and ego defense mechanism with reference to sex and academic category. To accomplish the purpose of this study, the research questions of this study were as follows:
First, how is general tendency in each ego defense mechanism?
Second, how is different the ego defense mechanism according to sex?
Third, how is different the ego defense mechanism according to academic category?
Fourth, how is different the ego mechanism according to sex and academic category?
Fifth, how is different the ego defense mechanism according to Sasang constitution class?
The subject of this study were 270 students(ma1e and female) attending D university in Busan City. The instruments for this study were "Ewha Defense Mechanism Test (EDMT Women University) 'and "Questionnaire for the Sasang Constitution Ⅱ (QSCCⅡ): 1995 Sun-Ho, Kim)
The data was analyzed for examination about differences of the ego defence mechanism with reference to Sasang constitution class, sex and academic category by multi-way ANOVA, and for examination about differences of sex and academic category with references to Sasang constitution class by chi-square, processed by SPSSWIN8.0
The following conclusions were obtained from result and discussions:
First, the result to examine general tendency about the ego defense mechanism is that the identification is highest. Also the reaction formation, controlling, suppression, regression and humor was higher than another. And the denial was lowest. Also the sublimation and acting out was lower than another.
Second, the projection, denial, distortion, passive-aggressive behavior, somatization, regression, controlling, rationalization, displacement, suppression, anticipation and dissociation of the ego defense mechanisms is different according to sex. The female students use the regression, somatization, dissociation and displacement more than the male students. And the male students use the suppression, distortion, anticipation and rationalization more than the female students.
Third, about the difference according to academic category, the arts and science, all of both correlate very much with the identification. The rationalization, anticipation and reaction formation is also correlated, but more less than the identification. The students of the science use the anticipation and rationalization more than the students of the arts. The students of the arts use the identification and reaction formation more than the students of the science.
Fourth, Sasang constitution class is not different according to sex. But the difference according to academic category has statistical correlation with Sasang constitution class. The arts has numbers of So-Eum more than the science. The science has numbers of Tae-Eum more than the arts. But So-Yang has not correlation with academic category.
Fifth, the ego defense mechanism is different according to Sasang constitution class. The controlling, acting out and humor is high to So-Yang. The reaction formation, suppression and evasion is high to So-Eum. The controlling and suppression is high to Tae-Eum.
