DBAE에 기초한 유아전통미술교육 프로그램 개발 연구 : 민화를 중심으로 = (A) Study on the Development of Program of Folk Paintings for Traditional Fine Arts Education in Kindergarten

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to develop a program of folk paintings based on DBAE strategies for traditional fine arts education in kindergarten.
The making decision process for the development of the program follows the Tyler's rationale for curriculum development. The program includes the research of teacher's need for traditional fine arts education.
The educational aim and goals of program were chosen on the base of research of teacher's need, theoretical background about DBAE and folk paintings. According to the educational aim and goals, six specific contents including 'What are folk paintings?', 'The folk paintings of imaginary animals', 'The folk paintings of story', 'The folk paintings of one's whole life', 'The folk paintings of letters' and 'The exhibition of folk paintings' were chosen and organized. And then specific activities were constructed.
When the developed program was applied at the kindergarten spot, all children did every activity easily and joyfully. Children were much interested in the activities on folk paintings. They showed progression in the aspects of the ability of expression through painting, the ability of explanation on one's own work, and the attitude of respect on other's work.
According to teachers' assessment on efficiency of this program, the contents of program, and the instruction methods and materials were proved adequate.
