리듬악기를 이용한 음악활동이 유아의 음악능력 발달에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아음악에서 리듬악기를 이용한 음악활동이 유아의 음악능력 발달에 효과가 있는지를 알아보는데 연구의 목적을 두었다.
연구목적에 다른 연구문제는 리듬악기를 이용한 음악활동이 유아의 음악능력(듣기, 리듬 표현, 노래 부르기, 악기 다루기, 창의력)발달에 어떤 효과가 있는가? 이다.
본 연구의 대상은 전북 익산시에 소재한 I 유치원의 만 5세만 두 학급으로 유아 40명이다. 한 학급은 실험집단으로 다른 학급은 비교집단으로 임의 배정하였다.
연구도구는 Loten과 Walley의 Recording Skill Development in Music에 제시된 총 89개 문항의 음악발달 검사를 최영숙(1982)이 41개 문항으로 번안 제작한 것을 본 연구에서 중복되거나 예비검사 결과 유아들의 수준에 비해 난이도가 높은 문항을 본 연구자가 삭제하여 32개 문항으로 수정하여 사용하였다.
실험처치로서 리듬악기를 이용한 음악활동은 생활주제에 따른 1개의 노래를 선택해 주 3회의 활동을 하였다. 1회 때에는 선정한 노래를 부르고, 2회 때에는 노래에 맞추어 리듬악기를 연주해 보고, 3회 때에는 노래에 맞추어 동작으로 표현해 보도록 하였다.
자료의 분석은 SPSS/PC 프로그램을 사용하여 t 검증을 하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 리듬악기를 이용한 음악활동이 유아의 음악능력 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 것이다. 따라서 리듬악기를 이용한 음악활동은 효과적임 음률교육 지도방법의 하나로서 유아를 위한 음악교육에서 리듬악기의 사용이 권장될 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate how activities using rhythmic instruments contribute to the development of children's musical ability.
The research questions for the study is how using rhythmic instruments affect children's musical skills such as listening, rhythmic expressions, singing, playing musical instruments, and creative abilities.
The subject of the research included two classes of five-year-old children at a kindergarten in Iksan One class was experimental group, and the other was controlled group.
The tool of study is the questionnaire consists of 32 questions from Youngsook Choi's questionnaire (1982) that originally contained 41 questions since some questions overlapped with others and some were irrelevant for my study. The questions that seemed to be too complicated for children were also removed after a preliminary test.
The musical activity for the research included three sessions of music lessons in which children learned a song based on life experience: they learned singing the song in the first session and then played the tune in the next session using rhythmic instruments, In the final session they were instructed to use their bodies to creatively express the rhythm of the song.
Analysis of this study does t-test using the SPSS/PC program.
The result shows that activities using rhythmic instruments do contribute to the development of children's musical ability that teachers should be encouraged to use the rhythmic instruments to effectively teach children tones and rhythms.
