The process of this study includes analyzing and reviewing the dancing education curricular as an area of middle school's physical education, revealing the significance and educational effects of ingenuity development, verifying the results of practical application to the field of dancing program as suggested by the preceding studies and, eventually, providing basic material for developing more effective and systematic dancing education program.
The subjects of the study are 120 non-major boy and girl students enrolled at middle schools on Jeonju. Rating papers for evaluation ingenuity were used to test their ability to compose new creative works. In order to confirm the difference by group and sex statistically, SPSS/PC, t-test and variance analysis were conducted. The finding from the analysis of the data collected are as follow:
1) There is statistically significant difference(p< .05) in originality and power of expression between the experimental group and control group before learning the original dancing program.
2) There is statistically significant difference(p< .05) in originality, power of expression, composing ability, variety and continuity between the experimental group and control group after learning the original dancing program.
3) Before and after learning the original dancing program, the experimental group shows statistically significant difference(p< .05), while the control group shows statistically significant difference(p< .05) in originality, power of expression, composing ability, variety and continuity.
4) Before learning the original dancing program, there is statistically significant difference in power of expression by sex(p< .05).
5) After learning the original dancing program there isn't any statistically significant difference by sex(p> .05).
6) Before and after learning the original dancing program by sex, boys show statistically significant difference(p< .05) in originality, and power of expression, composing ability and variety, while girls show statistically significant difference(p< .05) in originality, power of expression, composing ability, variety and continuity.
7) From the interaction of original composing ability by group and sex, there is statistically significant difference(p< .05) in originality, power of expression, composing ability, variety and continuity before and after learning the original dancing education. Particularly, significant interactions between boys and girls in the experimental group are found in originality and continuity.
