The purpose of this study is to understand the critical role of hotel information system quality in hotel industry, This paper examined relationships of hotel information system quality with user' values, user' satisfactions and system use intentions and investigated the effects of hotel information system quality and user' values, user' satisfactions on system use intentions in a social exchange perspective.
Data collected from 331 employees at super deluxe hotels located in Seoul, Korea. LISREL provided adequate satisfactory model-fits in measurement model and structural equation model. The empirical results indicated that information quality and system quality take strong effect on hotel information system quality and user' values, system use intentions while hotel information System's service quality influences only user' satisfactions does not take effect on either also. Hotel information system variables were found to indirectly contribute to system use intentions.
Another finding is that both user' values and user' satisfaction are effective mediators linking hotel information system quality to system use intentions. The effects of these variables on the system use intentions, which are based on behavioral perspectives were empirically confirmed.
