유아를 위한 기독교 가정의 신앙교육 프로그램 개발 = (A) Study on the development of a faith education program for christian family infants

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 가정에서 유아에게 효과적인 신앙교육을 하기 위하여 그에 따른 이론적 배경을 제시하고 그것을 바탕으로 가정에서 유아에게 실시할 수 있는 신앙교육 프로그램을 개발하여 유아 신앙교육의 올바른 방향을 제시하는데 있었다.
유아에게 신앙교육을 시키기 위해서는 유아의 신앙발달 단계를 이해하고 그것을 기독교 유아교육에 적용할 수 있어야 한다. Piaget는 단순한 지식을 주입하는 것보다는 삶의 상황 가운데 유아들 스스로가 경험을 통해 배우도록 해야한다고 주장한다. 그러므로 기독교 교육에서 성경이 다루어질 때 유아들은 실제적인 삶의 상황 가운데에서 학습할 수 있어야 하는 것이다. Fowler는 유아의 신앙은 유아와 관련된 분위기, 행동, 이야기 등에 영향을 받는 모방적 시기라고 말한다. 그러므로 가정의 신앙교육을 담당한 유아에게 성경 진리를 가르치는 가장 효과적인 방법은 부모 자신이 모범적인 모델을 보여주어야 한다며 부모의 역할을 강조한다.
이렇듯 유아의 신앙교육은 가정과 부모에게 일차적인 책임이 있다. 유아는 가정과 부모에게서 가장 많은 영향을 받으며, 특히 부모에게서 하나님의 모습을 깨닫게 된다. 그러므로 부모는 올바른 신앙 모델이 되어야 하며 올바른 교육을 시키는 주체가 되어야 할 것이다. 가정은 가장 기본적인 작은 단위의 신앙공동체로서 신앙교육의 제일 중요한 장이다. 유아들의 신앙교육은 하나님의 명령으로써 부모들의 책임에 속한다. 부모는 하나님의 뜻을 유아들에게 전달하는 특별한 사명을 가지고 유아들을 종교적으로 훈련하여야 한다.
그러나 오늘날 사회와 가정 구조가 변화되고 바쁜 일상에서 사는 부모들은 신앙교육의 필요성을 알면서도 그것을 제대로 실천하지 못하고 있다. 또는 그 중요성을 깨닫고 실행하고자 하더라도 그 방향과 방법을 알지 못하므로 유아의 신앙교육을 방치하는 경우도 생겨난다. 가정에서 실시할 수 있는 전문화되고 간결한 신앙교육 프로그램이 있다면 이러한 문제점을 조금이나마 해소할 수 있으리라 생각한다.
그러므로 본 연구에서는 기독교 가정에서 부모가 유아에게 실시할 수 있는 신앙교육 프로그램을 개발하여 유아의 신앙교육의 올바른 방향을 제시하고자 한다.
프로그램 개발을 위해 여러 가지의 신앙교육 내용과 방법들을 제시한 뒤 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램은 신앙교육의 가장 보편적인 주제들인 하나님, 교회, 예수님으로 설정하였다. 유아가 신앙교육에 흥미를 가질 수 있도록 각 주제에 맞추어 성경 그림동화, 미로게임, 이야기 나누기, 유아 눈높이에 맞춘 가정예배, 손유희, 음식 만들어 나누어 먹기, 찬양하기, 성경 속 인물이 되어 보기 등의 다양한 시도를 하였다.
이렇게 개발된 프로그램이 기독교 가정의 유아 신앙교육의 부흥에 작은 보탬이 되길 바란다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is aimed at presenting theoretical background, a proper way and an effective program for the faith education of Christian family infants.
We should understand and apply the steps of infants' faith development to the faith education. Piaget insisted that infants should learn through their experiences in their daily life instead of studying the simple knowledges. And infants study the Bible in the real circumstances. Fowler said infants are in the descriptive period that is effected by atmosphere, activities and stories. So the most efficient method to teach the truth of the Bible is to show the model.
Family is the smallest and the most meaningful community. Infants are absolutely influenced by their parents and their family. Their faith education is the God's commandment and the parents' duty. Parents can reveal the shape of Him to their sons and daughters. They are the messengers of the God. They should take the mission to train their infants religiously.
They know the need of faith education but can not perform it, due to the rapid change of the structure of family and society. Many parents don't know what to do,
if they realize the importance and want to try practicing it. Simple and specialized faith program will give some helps to solve such difficulties.
And made this program as follows.
First, I suggested several faith contents and methods. Next, some general subjects contain God, Church and Jesus. And I tried various forms of activities for the infants' interest. They are the Bible story pictures, maze games, story telling, family worship for the infants, hand motion, cooking and sharing, chanting the praises of Him and role play using the Bible, etc.
I hope this study will show a right direction and proper structured faith education program that can be used in many Christian families.
