    The purpose of this study was to find out effects of experiencing integrated educational activities through singing fairy tales on young children's self-concepts, perspective-taking and musical abilities and offer fundamental data that singing fairy tales could be applied to the integrated educational activity.
    To meet this purpose, the detailed research questions have been set up as follows:
    1. Is it possible that experiencing integrated education activities through singing fairy tales fosters self-concepts of children.
    2. Is it possible that experiencing integrated education activities through singing fairy tales improves perspective-taking abilities of children.
    3. Is it possible that experiencing integrated education activities through singing fairy tales develops musical abilities of children.
    The subject of the study is five-year-old children selected from S kindergarten located in S-Dong, Seoul. Twenty children were divided into experimental group of ten children and control group of the others.
    Self-concept test, perspective-taking ability test and musical ability test were executed for certifying the effects. JPPST(Joseph Pre-School and School and Self-concept Screening Test) was carried out as self-concept test after being modified for fitting in this study. Perspective-taking ability test of this study was based on Feshbach and Roes' test tool for perspective taking ability(1986). Musical ability was measured by selected questions from eighty-nine ones in Recording Skill Development in Music of Lorton and Walleys'
    The result date of above tests were analyzed by SAS(Statistical Analysis System) and the difference of two group in results was confirmed by t-test.
    The results of this study are as follows:
    1. The self-concepts of children experiencing educational activities through singing fairy tales in experimental group were fostered much more than ones in control group. And statistical data of this study showed meaningful difference between two groups.
    2. The perspective-taking abilities of children experiencing educational activities through singing fairy tales in experimental group were improved much more than ones in control group. And statistical data of this study showed meaningful difference between two groups.
    3. The musical abilities of children experiencing educational activities through singing fairy tales in experimental group were developed much more than ones in control group. And statistical data of this study showed meaningful difference between two group
    In conclusion, this study demonstrates that experiencing integrated educational activities through singing fairy tales have positive effects on young children's self-concept, perspective-taking and musical abilities.
