살풀이 춤의 내면적 구조에 관한 고찰 = (A) STUDY OF PSYCHOLOGICAL STRUCTURE AS AN SALPULI-CHUM'S

국문 초록 (Abstract)

살풀이 춤은 고대 원시 종합예술에서 출발한 샤머니즘에 그 기원을 두는 것으로 굿의 형태에서 분화되었다고는 하나 그 춤에는 종교적 의미나 상징적인 형식은 보이지 않으며 오히려 민중적인 홀춤이라 할 수 있는 이른바 허튼춤이 예술화 된 것으로 보아진다. 이러한 춤이 어느 시기에 살풀이 춤이라는 명칭으로 개칭 되었는지는 상세히는 알수 없으나, 다만 문헌상으로는 1930년 한성준에 의해 처음으로 살풀이 춤이라는 명칭으로 추어졌다는 기록이 있을 뿐이다.
본 논문에서는 우리 선조들의 정서중, 한과 신명을 잘 마무리한 춤 중에서 살풀이 춤을 선택하여 그 춤에 깃든 민족정서에 대한 것을 고찰해 보고자 한다.
제Ⅱ장에서는 살풀이 춤의 역사적 형성과정을 살펴보는 것이 이춤에 깃든 민족정서를 도출해 내는데 도움이 된다고 보고 그 유래를 우선 어의론적으로 접근하고, 변천과정의 형성을 살펴보았다.
Ⅲ장에서는 춤의 형식과 특징적 요소를 살펴봄에 있어 한영숙의 살풀이춤을 대상으로 해서 중점적으로 연구하였으며 춤사위에 나타나는 상징적 의미와 무대구성의 성격 등을 살펴보았다.
Ⅳ장에서는 본 논문의 성격을 가장 잘 드러낸 것으로, 살풀이 춤에 깃든 한과 신명의 의미와 그 유기적 관계를 살펴보았다.
Ⅴ장에서는 결론으로서, 살풀이 춤의 내면구조를 한과 신명으로 보았을때 우리 민족의 특성의 일부와도 일치함을 다시 한번 확신하게 되었으며 살풀이 춤의 특징인 정·중·동의 의미 또만 우리의 은근과 끈기 속에서도 역동하는 힘과 동일함을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Salpuli-chum is a dance which is originated on exorcism and shamanism. It has inherited by Korean ancestor for a long time as a Korean fork dance. It is a dance which is for the purpose of eliminating realistic 'sal' which means damnation or an ill-fated. However, it is not a religious dance but a artistic dance.
In 1930's, it has standardized and arranged into a kind of modern art by Han Sung-Jun. And it is performed on the stage as a pure art named 'Salpuli-chum' for the first time in 1936.
In this thesis, it is investigated that resentment and amusement as a psychological emotion change from resentment to amusement for a long time. Because our traditional culture has faced with a crisis owing to foreign. culture. Korean must realize our current situation. That is the reason which is studied for the creation and succession of our traditional culture.
In chapter Ⅱ, it describes the origin of 'Salpulichum' with respect to the etymology of a word and tries to approach to historical and social background.
In chapter Ⅲ, it describes the Genre, rhythm, custume and the color and style of a dress for 'Salpuli-chum'. And it tries to find symbolic meaning of each 'Chumsawi', a unit motion of Korean traditional dance and characteristics of stage configuration.
The chapter Ⅳ is the core of this thesis. In this chapter, it is studied the maning and relationship between resentment and amusement as a traditonal emotion in 'Salpuli-chum'.
The last chapter Ⅴ is the conclusion. This research finds that the Salpuli-chum's psychological structure is consist of resentment and amusement, and that it is in accord with Korean emotion.
