The purpose of this research is to provide basic informations for the school administration by analyzing the activities and the time that each member of the organization spends according to his and her position. The final sample was taken from 9 schoolmasters, 12 vice-masters, 73 master teacher and 197 teacher in 9 elementary schools located in Taegu. The research was made on the self-report based on the time they need to carry out their duties at school. The collected data were analyzed by minutes spent on work according to their posts and duties. T test, F test and scheff'e test carried out to analyze the differences according to the specific backgrounds of the staffs
The conclusions of the research are ;
1) The main activities of the school master were to go out on business, administrate the school facilities and supervise education. In analyzing the time spent on duty areas, any significant differences according to school size and his career on the post could not be. found.
2) The main activities of the vice-master were to check the school facilities, visit the classes and carry out personal studies. In analyzing the time spent at duty areas, Significant differences according to school size and his career on the post could not be found.
3) The main activities of the master teachers were to teach students, participate in the classes and teach cleaning. There were significant differences between the time they spend according to their duty areas based on the grades of the students and the work they do.
4) The main activities of the teachers were teaching the students, participating in other classroom activities and their studying on teaching. There were meaningful differences between the time they spend on duties according to the school size and the grades of the students they teach.
