천문별자리와 수비학적 占星 TAROT 운용법 비교연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There is no person to refute that the sun and the moon have influences on human life. People feel cozy under the war sunshine and get romantic under the blue moonlight. If it is recognized, people should not believe that planets have "some one-sided influential relations" with them.
Living in the modern times, we should understand a relation as a corresponding one, which means that the bottom will follow the top. Just like the sea rolls in the same color as the sky through reflection, a macrocosm reflects a macrocosm.
The correspondence rule states that man and the universe are maintained by a single unwritten law in the end. Man is a reduced version of the universe. Man is not separated from the great universe by some boundary. The application rule here also applies there. A path from here also leads to there. The mind of man is connected to that of the universe like the inner and outer worlds. Human beings join in all the cosmic events naturally from the time when they are born. They are intermingled with them externally and weave them internally.
Based on this understanding, Chapter 1 of this study introduced that the fundamentals of astrology were not much different from those of astronomy from the perspective of modern people and covered the scopes and directions of various fields as well as ancient astrology. Chapter 2 examined the characteristics of 28 Sus in the east and the symbols of direction stars based on Oriental and Occidental constellations. It also looked into Jamiwon, Taemiwon and Cheonsiwon based on the boundary of the universe, three Wons, Jamidusu, and horoscope and explained relations between Saryeongsin and 28 Sus. Chapter 3 examined the world of numerology based on the symbols of numerology and tarot astrology and the world of Arkan's world of astrology based on the symbols of numbers. Chapter 4 explained the methods of calculating charts and planets based on the geniture birth chart and plant calculation methods and examined the practical operation of numerological and astrological tarot based on the examples of harmony between the zodiac plants and tarot.
The study then reviewed specific papers including the data of Arkan utilization published since 2006 including "The Effects of Tarot-Based Development Activity Lessons on the Self-Concept of Middle School Students" published in 2006 and "The Effects of a Tarot-Based Counseling Program for Housewives" published in 2008. The results show that altruism, universality, group cohesion, and interpersonal relations were high on the list.
The American prophet and psychic Edgar Cayce said in his autobiography I Am the Sleeping Prophet that when a person was born, the locations of the solar system would have impacts on him or her and inject certain tendencies and actions into him or her regardless of his or her own will. He argued that astrology should play wonderful roles to warn people against an upcoming event and help them avoid it at certain time.
Understanding this, people should realize that the "rule of correspondence" is applied to the fate of a state and society as well as individual character and life. When a person is born, it is applied even to the patterns of stars shining in the sky above him or her. More and more research on the birth geniture of people will make it apparent that it is a blueprint to reflect their character, showing their individual disposition and fate.
People cannot change their environments as they wish, but it is up to their free will to determine how they react to them. People are able to improve their own situations and destinies and even change for the worse by making a wrong move. Counselors thus need to keep it mind that they can lead their clients in a wrong direction and always remember that they should be responsible for using the knowledge from solemn astrology they master to help others. The present study will hopefully make even the smallest contribution to younger students as they improve their qualities as astrologers by serving as a good educational material.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

태양과 달이 인간의 삶에 영향을 준다는 사실을 반박할 사람은 아무도 없을 것이다. 우리는 따스한 햇살 아래서 포근함을 느끼고 푸른 달빛 아래서 낭만에 젖는다. 우리가 이것을 인정한다면 행성들도 역시 우리와 ‘어떤 관계’속에 놓여있고 행성들이 일방적으로 인간에게 영향을 주는 관계라고 생각해서는 안 될 일이다.
현대에 살고 있는 우리는 그 어떤 관계를 ‘위와 같이 아래도 그러하다’라는 상응(相應)관계로 이해해야 한다. 바다가 하늘을 반영하여 같은 빛깔로 출렁이듯이 소우주는 대우주를 반영하는 뜻이다.
상응의 법칙은 인간과 우주가 궁극적으로 하나의 불문율에 의해 유지되고 있다고 말하고 있다. 인간은 축소된 우주이며 어떤 경계선에 의해 대우주로부터 분리되어 있는 것이 아니다. 그러므로 적용되는 법칙이 저것에도 적용되며 이것에서 나온 길은 저것으로 이어진다. 인간의 마음과 우주의 마음은 내부세계와 외부세계처럼 서로 연결되어 있다. 그래서 인간은 날 때부터 자연스레 모든 우주적인 사건에 동참하고 있는 것이며 외부적으로 그들과 함께 섞여 짜일 뿐만 아니라 내부적으로도 그들을 직조해 나가고 있는 것이다.
따라서 본 논문은 이러한 바탕을 두고 제1장은 현대인의 관점에서 점성학과 천문학의 그 근본이 확연하게 다르지 않다. 라는 소개와 더불어 그에 따른 고대점성학의 문화 및 여러 분야의 범위와 방향을 제시하였고, 제2장에서는 동양의 별자리와 서양별자리를 통해 동양의 28수의 특징과 방위별 상징을 우주의 경계, 삼원(三垣), 자미두수, 별점(星占)을 통해 자미원(紫微垣), 태미원 천시원을 고찰하고 사령신과 28수의 관계를 설명하였다. 또한 제3장에서는 수비학과 타로점성학의 상징을 통해 수비학의 세계를 수 숫자의 상징을 체계로 아르칸의 점성학적 세계를 알아보았다. 그리고 제4장에서는 천궁도 출생차트 행성 계산법을 통해 차트계산방법과 행성계산방법을 설명하였으며, 조디악의 행성과 TAROT의 조화를 각각의 범례를 통해 수비학적 점성타로의 실용적 운용법에 대한 면모를 살펴보았다.
이러한 아르칸 활용의 자료를 보면 2006년부터 발표된 여러 선행 논문 중 「타로를 활용한 계발활동 수업이 중학생의 자아개념에 미치는 영향」과 2008년「타로를 활용한 주부상담 프로그램의 효과」를 구체적으로 살펴보면, 이타주의, 보편성, 집단응집력, 대인관계 등이 높은 순위를 나타내고 있다.
“미국의 예언가이자 심령가인 에드가 케이시(Edgar Cauce)는 자신의 자서전『나는 잠자는 예언자』에서 한 인간이 탄생할 때 태양계의 위치가 영향을 미쳐 본인의 의지와 상관없이 특정한 성향과 행동을 의식 안으로 주입시킨다. 그러므로 다가올 상황을 경고하여 특정시간에 그것을 피할 수 있도록 하는 데에는 점성학이 훌륭한 역할을 한다.” 라고 말하고 있다.
이것을 이해하는 사람들은 우리들 개개의 인격과 생활뿐만 아니라 국가나 사회의 운명에도 ‘상응의 법칙’이 적용되고 있음을 알아야 한다. 또한 한 인간이 출생할 때 그곳을 조요(照耀)하고 있는 창공의 별들의 패턴에까지도 적용된다는 것을 인정해야만 한다. 실제로 우리가 자신의 출생천궁도를 연구하면 할수록 그것이 자신의 인격을 반영하는 청사진으로서 개개인의 기질과 운명을 보여주는 것임을 일깨워 주게 된다.
우리가 자신의 환경을 마음대로 바꿀 수는 없지만 거기에 어떻게 응답하는가는 우리 자유의지에 달려 있다. 그래서 우리는 자기 자신의 상황과 운명을 개선해 나갈 수가 있고, 잘못하면 그것을 개악해 버릴 수도 있는 것이다. 따라서 상담자는 나쁜 방향으로 이끌 수도 있다는 사실을 명심하고 상대방에게 도움을 줄 수 있는 엄숙하고 숙달된 점성술에 의해 얻은 지식을 사용할 때는 항상 책임이 뒤따른다는 사실을 잊지 말아야 한다. 그러므로 점성술사의 질적 자질을 향상시키는 데 본 논문이 후학들에게 도움이 될 수 있는 좋은 교육 자료로서 자리매김해지길 바라며, 나아가 연관학문들의 발전에 조금이나마 도움이 될 수 있기를 기대해본다.
