보육교사의 CCTV 인식이 교사효능감과 자존감에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

This research intends to suggest the theoretical and practical suggestions for a plan on the management of the CCTV's at the daycare centers that have been experiencing the high employee turnover rates and the difficulties in the human resources management and a plan for the management of the nursing teachers by analyzing the influences of the CCTV recognitions on the feelings of efficacy and the self-esteems of the teachers and by understanding the mutual relations between such factors.

Regarding the problems of the research, they are the following: Firstly, how are each of the CCTV recognitions, the feelings of efficacy, and the self-esteems of the nursing teachers? Secondly, how are the influences of the CCTV recognitions of the nursing teachers on the feelings of efficacy of the teachers? Thirdly, how are the influences of the CCTV recognitions of the nursing teachers on their self-esteem? By setting up these three research problems, this research had been proceeded with, and, regarding the subjects of the research, they were the teachers who had been working at the national and public daycare centers, the private daycare centers, the home daycare centers, the workplace nurseries, the corporate daycare centers, and the parent cooperative daycare centers in the Seoul City and Gyeonggi-do.

Also, regarding the data that were collected in this research, they were analyzed by using the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) 23.0 program. Regarding the technique of the analysis, in order to understand the special, general characteristics of the subjects of the investigation, the frequencies and the percentages were calculated by carrying out the frequency analysis. Also, in order to measure the levels of the CCTV recognitions, self-esteems, and the feelings of efficacy of the teachers of the subjects of the investigation, a technical statistical analysis was carried out, and the average values and the standard deviations were compared. And, in order to verify the correlations between the concerned variables, a bivariate correlations analysis was carried out, and, thereby, the correlation coefficients of each were compared and analyzed. And, in order to analyze the CCTV recognitions of the nursing teachers on the self-esteems and the feelings of efficacy of the nursing teachers, a multiple regression analysis was carried out. In all of the above analyses, the standard of the level of significance was α(p) = .05 or higher.

If I were to summarize the results that were obtained through this research, it is the following:

Firstly, if we take a look at the CCTV recognitions of the nursing teachers, the recognition that the CCTV's are needed for the safety and the security came out to be the highest. And, next, the results of the high numerical values came out in the order of the positive effects, the need for the management, and the negative recognition. Also, regarding the nursing teachers who are the subjects of the research, when the self-esteems regarding the job of the nursing teacher, their identities, the identities of the jobs, etc., which have been recognized by the others or the society, were compared to the feelings of self-esteem that were related, the self-esteems felt by the constituent members of the workplaces and the organizations appeared to be relatively low. And it appeared that the feelings of efficacy of the nursing teachers was not so high.

Secondly, if we take a look at the influences of the CCTV recognitions of the nursing teachers on their self-esteems, if the nursing teachers perceive the need for the CCTV safety and security to be high, the self-esteems of the membership group improves. If the negative recognition regarding the CCTV gets high, the membership self-esteem and the public self-esteem fall. And if the nursing teachers perceive the positive effects of the CCTV to be high, the public self-esteem gets improved. Also, it appeared that the CCTV recognitions of the nursing teachers had not influences on the identity self-esteem.

Thirdly, if we take a look at the results of the analysis of the influences of the CCTV recognitions of the nursing teachers on the teachers' feelings of efficacy, it appeared that, the higher the negative recognition of the CCTV on the part of the nursing teachers was, the lower the teachers' feelings of efficacy was. However, the remaining subfactors of the CCTV recognition had no significant influence on the feelings of efficacy of the teachers.

Based on the results above, it was able to take a look at what influences the CCTV recognitions of the nursing teachers have on the teachers' feeling of efficacy and self-esteem. Such results will provide the basic materials for establishing the direction for the theoretical and practical efforts so that the inconveniences of the teachers due to the CCTV's can be reduced and so that the self-esteems and the feelings of the efficacies of the teachers can be recovered.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 CCTV 인식이 교사효능감과 자존감에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이러한 요인들의 상호관계를 파악함으로써 높은 이직률과 인적자원 관리에 어려움을 겪고 있는 어린이집의 CCTV 관리 방안과 보육교사 관리를 위한 이론적ㆍ실무적 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

연구의 문제로는 첫째, 보육교사의 CCTV 인식과 교사효능감, 자존감은 각각 어떠한가? 둘째, 보육교사의 CCTV 인식이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 셋째, 보육교사의 CCTV 인식이 자존감에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 의 3가지 연구문제를 설정하여 본 연구를 진행하였으며, 연구의 대상자는 서울시 및 경기도에 있는 국공립어린이집, 민간어린이집, 가정어린이집, 직장어린이집, 법인 어린이집, 부모협동어린이집에 근무하는 교사를 대상으로 하였다.

또한 본 연구의 수집된 자료는 SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 기법으로는 조사 대상자의 일반적 특성을 파악하기 위해 빈도분석(frequency analysis)을 실시하여 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 또한 조사 대상자들의 CCTV 인식과 자존감, 교사효능감의 정도를 측정하기 위해 기술통계분석을 실시, 평균값과 표준편차를 비교하였다. 그리고 해당 변수들의 상관관계를 검증하기 위해 이변량 상관분석을 실시 각각의 상관계수를 비교·분석하였으며, 보육교사의 CCTV 인식이 보육교사의 자존감 및 교사효능감에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이상의 모든 분석에서 유의수준은 α(p) = .05 이상을 기준으로 하였다.

본 연구를 통해 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.

첫째, 보육교사의 CCTV 인식에 대해 살펴보면 안전 보안을 위해 CCTV가 필요하다는 인식이 가장 높게 나왔으며 그 다음으로는 긍정적 효과, 운영 필요성, 부정적 인식 순으로 높은 수치의 결과가 나왔다. 또한 연구 대상 보육교사들이 타인이나 사회에서 인식되고 있는 보육교사 직업에 대한 자존감, 자신의 정체성과 직업의 정체성 등과 연관된 자존감과 비교했을 때 직장 및 조직 구성원으로서 느끼는 자존감이 상대적으로 낮게 나타났으며, 보육교사의 교사효능감은 그다지 높지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

둘째, 보육교사의 CCTV 인식이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과를 살펴보면 보육교사의 CCTV에 대한 부정적 인식이 높을수록 교사효능감은 낮아지는 것으로 나타났으나, 나머지 CCTV 인식 하위요인들은 교사효능감에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다.

셋째, 보육교사의 CCTV 인식이 자존감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보면, 보육교사들이 CCTV 안전 보안에 대한 필요성을 높게 지각하면 멤버쉽 집단 자존감이 향상하고, CCTV에 대한 부정적 인식이 높아지면 멤버쉽 자존감, 공적 자존감이 하락하며, 보육교사들이 CCTV의 긍정적 효과를 높게 지각하면 공적 자존감이 향상된다. 또한 보육교사들의 CCTV 인식은 정체성 자존감에는 아무런 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

이상의 결과를 바탕으로 보육교사의 CCTV 인식이 교사효능감과 자존감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 CCTV로 인한 교사의 불편함을 줄이고 보육교사의 자존감과 교사효능감을 회복할 수 있도록 이론적, 실무적 노력의 방향을 세우는데 기초자료를 제공할 것이다.
