중학생 학교스포츠클럽활동의 관여도가 정서적 공감능력과 학교적응유연성에 미치는 영향

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to identify the effects of students’ involvements in sports clubs at schools on their emotional empathic abilities and the flexibilities of their adaptation to school lives, and to look into the relationship between the two traits above.
Questionaires have been used for this purpose, conducting a survey of a total of 900 students at four middle schools selected in Seoul, 741 copies of which have been analyzed, while 159 copies have not been included for the matter of faithfulness.
Analyses such as Frequency, t check, one-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation, Linear Refression have been conducted by SPSS 18.0 which is one of the statistical programs.
Middle School Students’emotional empathic abilities and the flexibilities of their adaptation to school lives can be summed up as follows;
First, for the difference of involvement in relation to gender and grade, female students have been shown higher than their counterparts, especially the seniors being highest.
Second, the difference of emotional empathy based on gender and grade, in the sense of positive sharing, emotional commitment, and emotional infection, has been shown to have statistical significance.
Third, the difference of the flexibilities of their adaptation to school lives by gender and grade, in terms of interest in school, attitude toward the academic achievement and observance of school regulations, has been statistically signified.
Fourth, it has been shown, followed by the analysis of corelation among all the variables, that there is a static corelation among them.
Fifth, from the effectiveness perspective of involvement on the emotional empathy, positive sharing has been highest, emotional empathy the second, followed by emotional infection, all being statistically meaningful.
Sixth, from the view of effectiveness of involvement on the flexibilities of students’ adaptation to school lives, interest in school has been ranked highest, attitude toward academic achievement being the second, observance of school regulations the last, all having statistical significance.
Seventh, looking into the relationship between the flexibilities of students’ adaptation to school lives and their emotional empathy, emotional empathy has been affected by interest in school and observance of school regulations as well, while attitude toward academic achievement not making any statistical difference. From this research, emotional empathic abilities and the flexibilities of their adaptation to school lives have been shown to be affected by the involvement in school sports clubs in the proportional sense.
Also, it has been demonstrated that it is essential for the physical education instructors to motivate students to eagerly participate in the activities at school sports clubs, and to enhance the involvement in school sports clubs by giving assignments brought down to their individual levels.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중학생의 학교스포츠클럽활동의 관여도가 학생들의 정서적 공감능력과 학교적응유연성에 미치는 영향을 규명하고, 정서적 공감능력과 학교적응유연성 간의 관계를 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 설문지를 사용하였으며, 서울에 소재한 4개의 중학교를 선정하여 총 900명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 답변이 불성실하다고 판단되는 159부를 제외한 741부를 분석 자료로 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 18.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, t 검정,일원변량분석(one-way ANOVA), 상관분석(Pearson Correlation), 단순 회귀 분석(Linear Refression Analysis)등을 실시하였다. 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별과 학년에 따른 관여도의 차이는 여학생이 높았으며, 3학년의 관여도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성별과 학년에 따른 정서적 공감의 차이는 긍정적 공유, 정서개입, 정서감염 모두에서 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 성별과 학년에 따른 학교적응유연성의 차이는 학교에 대한 흥미, 학업 성취에 대한 태도, 규범준수 모두에서 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 변인들 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 모든 변인들 간의 정적인 상관관계를 나타내었다. 다섯째, 관여도가 정서적 공감에 미치는 영향을 보았을 때 긍정적 공유, 정서적 공감, 정서감염 순으로 높게 나타났으며 모두 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 여섯째, 관여도가 학교적응유연성에 미치는 영향을 보았을 때 학교에 대한 흥미, 학업성취에 대한 태도, 규범 준수 순서로 높게 나타났으며, 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 일곱째, 학교적응유연성과 정서적 공감간의 관계를 보았을 때, 학교에 대한 흥미와 규범준수는 정서적 공감에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 학업 성취에 대한 태도는 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 학교스포츠클럽활동에 대한 관여도가 높을수록 정서적 공감능력과 학교적응유연성에 정적인 상관을 미치는 것으로 나타난 것으로 보아 학교에서 체육교사들이 학생들이 학교스포츠클럽활동에 흥미를 가지고 열정적으로 참여할 수 있도록 동기를 유발하고 학생의 수준에 맞는 과제를 제공함으로써 학교스포츠클럽활동에 대한 관여도를 높이는 것이 매우 중요함을 증명해 보인다.
