대장암 환자의 외상 후 성장 관련 요인 = Posttraumatic growth factors in colorectal cancer patients

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that influence posttraumatic growth in colorectal cancer patients.
The subjects were 80 outpatients with colorectal cancer who visited the oncology clinic of university hospital in Y city. The instruments used for this study were Posttraumatic growth index Korean version(K-PTGI), Cancer Coping Questionnaire Korean version(KCCQ), Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support(MSPSS), Resilience Scale(RS). the data were analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson-correlation coefficient, and regression using SPSS/WIN 18.0.
The mean score of posttraumatic growth was 51.16. Posttraumatic growth of colorectal patients had the significant correlations with coping, social support, resilience. In regression analysis, posttraumatic growth was significantly influenced by resilience, coping, importance of religion.
These results suggest that these influencing factors should be consider in developing the nursing interventions to improve the posttraumatic growth in colorectal cancer patients.
