대학생의 자기결정성, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로준비행동 간의 구조적 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 자기결정성, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로준비행동 간의 구조적 관계를 규명하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 대학생의 자기결정성, 진로결정자기효능감과 진로준비행동 간에는 직접적인 관계가 있는가? 둘째, 대학생의 진로결정자기효능감은 자기결정성과 진로준비행동 간의 관계를 매개하는가?
이상의 연구문제를 해결하기 위해 대전광역시와 충청남도 소재 4개 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 538명을 대상으로 자기결정성, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로준비행동 검사를 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 531명의 자료가 분석에 포함되었다. 수집된 자료를 대상으로 상관분석 등의 기초통계 처리는 SPSS 20.0을, 구조방정식 분석은 AMOS 20.0을 활용하였다.
본 연구에서는 자기결정성이 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 직접효과와 진로결정자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 직접효과, 그리고 자기결정성이 진로결정자기효능감을 매개변인으로 해서 진로준비행동에 미치는 간접효과가 있음이 나타났다. 이는 진로준비행동을 수행하는데 있어서 자기결정성과 진로결정자기효능감이 정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 자기결정성이 진로준비행동에 대해 직접효과는 없지만, 진로결정자기효능감을 매개로 간접효과가 있음을 고려할 때 진로준비행동을 촉진하기 위해서 진로교육 혹은 진로상담 프로그램에 자기결정성의 하위요인인 자율성, 유능성, 관계성을 촉진하도록 하는 활동을 기초로 하여 진로결정자기효능감을 높일 수 있도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 즉, 대학생의 진로준비행동을 촉진하기 위해서는 자기결정성, 진로결정자기효능감 각각의 단일 변수에 대한 증진방안이 아닌 세 변수의 구조적 관계를 고려한 프로그램을 고안하는 것이 중요할 것이다. 본 연구는 대학생들의 진로준비행동과 관련된 자기결정성, 진로결정자기효능감의 관계를 파악하여 진로교육과 진로상담을 위한 기초자료를 제공했다는 데에 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research aimed at investigating structural relation between college students' self-determination, self-efficacy on career decision, and career preparation behavior. To accomplish this purpose, this research selected following research questions. First, is there direct relation between college students' self-determination, self-efficacy on career decision, and career preparation behavior? Second, does college students' self-efficacy on career decision mediate relation between self-determination and career preparation behavior?
To resolve the above research questions, this research conducted inspection on self-determination, self-efficacy on career decision, and career preparation behavior targeting 538 students in four universities in Daejeon and Chungcheongnam-do, ultimately included the data of 531 students for analysis. For the collected data, the researcher utilized SPSS 20.0 for basic statistical process of correlation analysis, etc, and AMOS 20.0 for structural equation analysis.
This research confirmed direct effect of self-determination on self-efficacy on career decision and direct effect of self-efficacy on career decision on career preparation behavior, and indirect effect of self-determination on self-efficacy on career preparation behavior with the mediator variable of self-efficacy on career decision. This implies that self-determination and self-efficacy on career decision positively influence in performing career preparation behavior. Also, there is no direct effect of self-determination on career preparation behavior, however, considering there is indirect effect with self-efficacy on career decision as mediator variable, in order to promote career preparation behavior, it is important to enhance self-efficacy on career decision based on the activity in career education or career counseling program to promote autonomy, competence, relationship, which are sub factors of self-determination. That is, in order to promote college students' career preparation behavior, it is important to devise a program considering structural relation between three variables, not the promotional plan for single variable of each self-determination and self-efficacy on career decision. This research has a significant implication that it provided base data for career education and career counseling by comprehending the relation between self-determination and self-efficacy on career decision related to college students' career preparation behavior.
