Abuse and neglect from parents of youth mental health, youth development, a lot of influence and abused children and youth in many studies reporting the problem to be with the aftermath. Experiences of abuse and neglect adolescent social behavior, introverted behavior, self-concept of damage, such as school maladjustment negative affect, these problems persisted into adulthood adult antisocial behavior, depression, and risk factors of interpersonal problems can be.
In this study, parents and youth from abuse and neglect in relation to school adjustment variables and set the parameters of self-esteem, self-esteem and parental abuse and neglect experienced by adolescent school adjustment parameters to verify the saw.
For the purposes of this study conducted in South Korea Children and Youth Policy Institute Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) in 3rd year of data (2012) data were used. 2012 based on 2,260 people across the country to target ninth grade study. Results for the analysis using the SPSS 18.0 for each variable frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis was performed, the results of the study are as follows.
First, Parental abuse and neglect, self-esteem and school adjustment of adolescents discussed the correlation between the results, Parental abuse and neglect of self-esteem, school adjustment, and showed a significant negative correlation, self-esteem and school adjustment showed a significant positive correlation.
Second, Parental abuse and neglect, self-esteem and school adjustment of adolescents discussed the impact results, Abuse and neglect of the self-esteem of parents and school adaptation showed significant influence amulets, self-esteem is a significant school adjustment of adolescents influence static.
Third, Abuse and neglect of parents and adolescents in relation to school adjustment and to verify the mediating effect of self-esteem as a result, Abuse and neglect of self-esteem and their parents and school adjustment parameters showed that part of the relationship.

부모로부터의 학대 및 방임은 청소년의 정신건강, 청소년의 발달에 있어서 많은 영향을 미치고, 많은 연구에서 학대받은 아동· 청소년의 후유증과 문제점을 보고하고 있다. 청소년기의 학대 및 방임경험은 사회적 행동, 내향적 행동, 자아개념의 손상, 학교생활부적응 등의 부정적인 영향을 미치며, 이러한 문제가 성인기까지 지속하여 성인의 반사회적 행동, 우울, 대인관계 문제의 위험요인이 될 수 있다.
따라서 본 연구에서는 부모로부터 학대 및 방임이 청소년의 학교생활적응과의 관계에서 자아존중감을 매개변인으로 설정하고, 자아존중감이 부모의 학대 및 방임경험과 청소년의 학교생활적응을 매개하는지 검증해보았다.
이러한 본 연구의 목적을 위해 한국 청소년 정책연구원에서 실시한 한국 아동·청소년패널조사(KCYPS)의 자료 중 3차년도(2012년) 자료를 사용하였고, 2012년 기준 전국의 중학교 3학년 2,260명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 결과분석을 위해 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 각 변수에 대한 빈도분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였고, 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 부모의 학대 및 방임, 자아존중감과 청소년의 학교생활적응과의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 부모의 학대 및 방임은 자아존중감, 학교생활적응과 유의미한 부적상관을 보였고, 자아존중감은 학교생활적응과는 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다.
둘째, 부모의 학대 및 방임, 자아존중감이 청소년의 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 부모의 학대 및 방임은 자아존중감과 학교생활적응에 유의미한 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 자아존중감은 청소년의 학교생활적응에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 부모의 학대 및 방임과 청소년의 학교생활적응과의 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 자아존중감은 부모의 학대 및 방임과 학교생활적응과의 관계를 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다.
