아르누보 양식을 응용한 뷰티 일러스트레이션

국문 초록 (Abstract)

뷰티 예술의 세계는 시대와 역사의 흐름 속에서 그 시대의 생활상과 인간의 내면을 표현하는 것으로 이러한 예술적 표현의 욕구는 뷰티 예술가들로 하여금 부단한 노력과 더불어 표현의 다양한 기법과 재질의 다양성을 연출하기 위하여 상호 피드백을 받고 있다고 보여 진다.
그 가운데 특히 새로운 미술을 뜻하는 아르누보(Art Nouveau)의 특징인 유기적인 선의 표현은 뷰티 일러스트레이션의 분야 중에서 헤어 일러스트레이션의 예술성에 지속적인 영향을 주고 있다.
이에 본 연구는 예술적 표현을 위한 아르누보의 작품세계를 탐구하여 조금 더 객관성이 있는 또 다른 뷰티 일러스트레이션의 분야를 보완하고 개발의 가능성을 주목하고 아르누보의 조형적 특성을 분석하고 이를 응용하여 예술적 가치의 미적 기준에 접합한 뷰티 일러스트레이션 작품을 제시한 질적 연구이다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 이론적 고찰로서 아르누보의 개념 및 유형과 형성 배경, 전개과정에 대하여 살펴보았고 뷰티 일러스트레이션의 개념과 역사 및 특성에 대하여 살펴보고 분석 하였다.
둘째, 아르누보 양식을 응용한 뷰티 일러스트레이션의 조형적 특성을 추출하고 아르누보의 표현기법과 특성을 선행 연구를 근거로 형태의 추상성, 재질의 자연성, 색채의 신비성으로 추출하였다.
각 특성간의 명확한 구분을 위하여 분석 기준을 상정하여 형태의 추상성은 C자형 혹은 S자형의 곡선으로 되는 환상적인 선의 율동감과 비대칭의 형태를 사용하여 기하학적 형태를 표현한 것을 말한다. 재질의 자연성은 아르누보의 주된 모티브로 자연의 동․식물을 모두 포함하는데 자연의 유기적인 형태인 꽃들과 줄기 등과 화려한 색채와 모양을 갖춘 동물을 모티브로 하여 대부분 미와 허영의 상징 주의적 미학의 표현으로 자연물을 적용하여 아름답게 표현하는 것을 의미한다. 색채의 신비성은 환상적인 색과 부드러우면서 환한 색조, 이국적인 화려한 컬러를 사용하여 표현하는 것을 말한다.
셋째, 작품 제작을 위하여 위에서 분석한 자료를 토대로 작품들의 형태의 추상성, 재질의 자연성, 색채의 신비성으로 구분하여 아르누보를 모티브로한 뷰티 일러스트레이션 작품 6점을 제작하였다.

본 연구를 통해 예술성이 가미된 뷰티 일러스트레이션의 가치를 높이는데 의의가 있으며 앞으로 뷰티 산업과 뷰티 일러스트레이션의 대중 간 의사소통의 가치와 예술세계와의 소통을 위하여 다양한 학문적 분야의 연구 및 예술세계의 끊임없는 탐구와 뷰티 영역에서 심도 있는 연구가 지속적으로 이루어지길 바란다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Beauty art is a form of art that expresses a contemporary lifestyle and inner aspect of human nature through the passing of time periods and history. It appears that this desire for artistic expression receives interactional feedback to allow beauty artists make continued efforts and create diversity in expression and materials. Among them, the expression of organic lines, which is the characteristics of art nouveau, has had continuous effects on the artistic aspect of hair illustration among beauty illustration sectors.
Therefore, this qualitative study has attempted to complement a more objective beauty illustration sector by investigating art nouveau work for artistic expressions, analyze the formative characteristics of the art style focusing on the possibility of development and suggest beauty illustrations that meet the aesthetic standards of artistic values.
The following results were found: First, for a theoretical review, the concept, types, background and progress of art nouveau were examined, and the concept, history and characteristics of beauty illustration were investigated.
Second, after extracting the formative characteristics of art nouveau-style beauty illustration, the expression techniques and characteristics of art nouveau (abstractness of shape, naturalness of materials and mystique of color) were obtained through analysis on previous studies, For clear classification by characteristics, analysis standards were established. The abstractness of shape refers to the expression of geometric shapes using fluid, rhythmic line patterns (C-shaped or S-shaped curve) or asymmetrical shapes. The naturalness of materials includes both animals and plants as the main motif of art nouveau. Utilizing flowers, plant stems and animals with gorgeous colors and shapes as a motif, natural objects are applied to express the symbolic aesthetics of beauty and vanity. The mystique of color means the expression of art using soft, bright and exotic colors.
Third, for the production of art work, they were divided into abstractness of shape, naturalness of materials and mystique of color based on the data collected. Six beauty illustrations were created using art nouveau as a motif.
This study is meaningful in that it has increased the value of artistic beauty illustration. Further studies in various fields and in-depth studies in the beauty sector are needed to improve the value of communication with the public and communication with art in the beauty industry and beauty illustration.
