중국 수용자의 한국 영화 수용에 관한 연구 : -영화 <써니>의 감상문 분석결과를 중심으로 = Chinese viewers' Korean movie reception-An analysis about the movie reports of <Sunny>

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is the understanding of Chinese movie viewers' reception patterns and through which to find the factors that affect movie viewers' pleasure of watching a foreign movie. For this purpose, this study analyzed 565 articles written by Chinese movie viewers of a popular Korean movie called <Sunny> on the on-line bulletin boardAs a result, there are mainly four kinds of sources, through which Chinese movie viewers can get pleasure from the movie watching. They are 'pleasure from the empirical realism', 'pleasure from the emotional realism', 'pleasure from the external unrealism', and 'pleasure from the oppositional decoding'.
Firstly, under the circumstances of 'pleasure from the empirical realism', the definition of realism is a result of the comparison between the reality 'in' and 'outside' the movie text. The function of movie characters and episodes is very important. If viewers find the looks, personalities or the behavior of the movie characters recognizable, they will identify themselves with the movie characters and get involved in the movie easily. Then they can get pleased by watching the movie.

In a word, movie viewers are inclined to decoding a movie text by relating the stories in the movie with their own lives and making various kinds of pleasure out of it.
