      ABSTRACT

      The Effect of Young Children’s environment friendly attitude due to Young Children’s Green Growth Education

      The purpose of this research is investigation for influence of infants Green Growth Education on infants' eco-friendly attitude, the problem is following.

      A. Are there any differences in eco-friendly attitude of infants between infants green growth educated group (test group) and uneducated group (comparison group)?

      B. Are there effects any infants green growth educated environment friendly attitude?

      B-1. Are there any differences in the infants' interest and affection for animals and plants?
      B-2. Are there any differences in the infants' consciousness of respect for life?
      B-3. Are there any differences in the infants' attitude to prefer natural environment to artificial environment?
      B-4. Are there any difference in the infants' attitude to nature conservation?

      The subjects of this research were the group include 7 years old, 20 infants belong to P kindergarten in Jung-Gu, Incheon as a test group and the other group include 20 infants belong to S kindergarten. Research was proceed following process of pre-test, experimental treatment, post-test, and data processing. ‘Eco-friendly attitude Testing Tool’ was used for test tool based on CATES-PV(The Children's Attitudes Toward the Environment Scale-Preschool Version) developed by Musser and Diamond (1999), adapted and revised by Hur Yoon Jeong (2001) and partially modified by “So Kyung Hee (2007)”. The pre-test (20th to 22nd in March, 2013) and post-test (15th to 20th in May, 2013) for 8 weeks were accomplished with graphic tool for eco-friendly attitude test which using for research of “Cheon Kyung Hwa”.
      In this research, SPSS 18.0 program was used to investigate the effect of infants green growth education for eco-friendly attitude and t-test was used to interest and affection for animals and plants, respect consciousness for life and preference of natural environment over artificial environment which were sub-factor of eco-friendly attitude due to define homogeneous group from pre-test. The statistical significance level was set at p<.05.

      The results of this research was following.
      First, analysis of infants green growth education before and after showed that infants green growth education had effect on infants' eco-friendly attitude. It was statistically significant.
      Second, according to analysis of interest and affection for animals and plants which was sub-factor of eco-friendly attitude, infants green growth education had effect on interest and affection for animals and plants. It was statistically significant.
      Third, according to analysis of respect consciousness for life which was sub-factor of eco-friendly attitude, infants green growth education had effect on respect consciousness for life. It was statistically significant.
      Fourth, according to analysis of preference of natural environment over artificial environment which was sub-factor of eco-friendly attitude, infants green growth education had effect on preference of natural environment over artificial environment. It was statistically significant.
      Fifth, according to analysis of nature conservation which was sub-factor of eco-friendly attitude, infants green growth education did not have effect on nature conservation. It was not statistically significant.

      The result above showed that infants green growth education had positive effects on improving infants' eco-friendly attitude.

      이 연구는 유아녹색성장교육이 유아의 자연 친화적 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있으며 연구문제는 다음과 같다.

      가. 유아녹색성장교육을 경험한 집단(실험집단)과 그렇지 않은 집 단(비교집단) 유아의 환경 친화적 태도에 영향을 미치는가?

      나. 유아녹색성장교육이 환경 친화적 태도의 하위요소에는 영향을 미치는가?

      나-1. 유아의 동·식물에 대한 관심과 사랑에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 가?
      나-2. 유아의 생명에 대한 존중의식에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는가?
      나-3. 인공적인 환경보다 자연환경에 대한 유아의 선호도에 영향을 미치 는가?
      나-4. 유아의 자연보호에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는가?

      이 연구의 대상은 인천광역시 중구에 위치한 P유치원의 만5세 유아 20명을 실험집단으로 하고 S유치원 20명을 비교집단으로 구성하였다. 연구 과정은 실험집단과 비교집단의 사전 검사, 실험처치, 사후검사, 자료처리로 실시되었다. 검사 도구로는 Musser & Diamond(1999)가 제작한 CATES-PV(The children's Attitudes Toward the Environment Scale-Preschool version)를 기초로 하여 허윤정(2001)이 번안, 수정하고 소경희(2007)가 일부 보완한 ‘환경 친화적 태도 검사도구’를 사용하였다. 환경 친화적 태도 검사를 위한 그림도구는 천경화(2012)의 연구에서 쓰인 그림도구를 활용하여 사전검사(2013년 3월 20일~3월 22일)를 실시하였으며 8주간 실험처치를 한 후, 사후검사(2013년 5월 15일~5월 20일)를 실시하였다.
      이 연구에서 유아녹색성장교육이 유아의 환경 친화적 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 SPSS 18.0프로그램을 사용하였으며, 환경 친화적 태도 하위요소인 동․식물에 대한 관심과 사랑, 생명에 대한 존중 의식, 인공적인 환경보다 자연환경 선호에서는 사전검사 결과 동질집단이라는 결과가 나타나 t-test를 사용하였다. 통계적 유의도 수준은 p<.05로 설정하
