장애청소년의 자아존중감과 인터넷 음란물노출이 성태도 및 성행동에 미치는 영향

Effects of the Self-Esteem and Internet Pornographic Exposure of the Adolescents with Disabilities on the Sexual Attitude and the Sexual Behavior

This study aims to examine the self-esteem and actual situation of contact internet pornography of the middle high school adolescents with disabilities in the special education schools and regular schools, and to be the basic data for the political and practical services provided for improvement of the healthy sexual attitude and the sexual behavior of the adolescents with disabilities by research of the effects on the sexual attitude and the sexual behavior.

About the reference period, the survey was conducted based on 140 adolescents with disabilities without the cognitive impairment at school located in the metropolitan and regional areas from December, 2012 until March, 2013. For the result analysis, the frequency analysis, T-test, 1 way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis were conducted by using SPSS 18.0.
The results of this study can be summarized as follows.

First, the self-esteem of the adolescents with disabilities was more negative. About the internet pornography contacts, 72.1% of the adolescents with disabilities were contacting with the internet pornography, about when they had been initiated into it, 4th~6th grade elementary school students(41.6%) were topped. The first contact was while using a computer accidentally(47.5%), they watch the pornography alone(47.5%), As the contact location, their house(49.5%) caused by the sexual curiosity(49.5%) they are contacting with the pornography.

Second, as the factors which have effects on the sexual attitude and sexual behavior of the adolescents with disabilities, the higher pursuit of pornography and the negative self-esteem showed more distorted ever allowed and unethical sexual attitude. The higher academic achievement showed decrease of the sexual behavior experience, and the higher pornography exposure frequency, pursuit of pornography reaction, pornography showed the more sexual behavior experiences.

These results suggest the following implications. First, the social welfare service intervention for improvement of the positive self-esteem of the adolescents with disabilities is needed, second, the development of the block program for preventing the internet pornographic exposure and the pornography production distribution and the illegal distributing related strengthening of regulatory are needed. Third, the substantiality of sex education of the whole-person education level should be conducted for the modification of distorted sexual knowledge and the proper sexual culture.
