초심 놀이치료자의 미완종결 관련 변인 연구

The purpose of this study was to explore the variables having an effect on the premature termination of novice play therapist.
Found variables related to premature termination through a antecedent study. These variables are as follows: The first is a professional experience variable, which includes a career, all case count, amount of case for a week, frequency of supervision, supervision behavior, experience or non-exprience of educational psychoanalysis, frequency of educational psychoanalysis, experience or non-exprience of group therapy, frequency of group therapy, frequence of completion of counseling subject, frequence of attend association and seminar. The second is the therapeutic process for children, which includes self-efficacy, state anxiety, countertransference feeling, countertransference behavior, countertransference management ability, therapeutic relationships. The third variable of therapeutic process for parents, which includes self-efficacy, state anxiety, countertransference feeling, countertransference behavior, countertransference management ability, therapeutic relationships. Looked at the difference these variables appear in 'premature termination' group and 'counseling proceeding' group. In addition, looked at the difference of 'premature termination' group and premature termination through consultation.
The subjects of this study were 53 novice play therapist of less than 3years of career. A therapist was in response to the three case and the total number of case was 142. The collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, factor analysis, Cronbach α, t-test, one way ANOVA.
The summarized results of this study are as follows :
1) 'Premature termination' group and 'counseling proceeding' group there were differences in the number of case a week. The 'premature termination' group had more amount of case for a week than 'counseling proceeding' group.
2) In the therapeutic process for children, self-efficacy of the 'premature termination' group was measured as low than 'counseling proceeding' group. And 'premature termination' group was feel less countertransference feeling of affection, a lack of empathy skills in a countertransference management ability, a lack of self-integration and a lack of conceptualization of skill than 'counseling proceeding' group. And 'premature termination' group was perceived as low of therapeutic helping relationship than 'counseling proceeding' group.
3) In the therapeutic process for parents, the 'premature termination' group was felt more anxiety for counseling ability, lack of microskills in self-efficacy, lack of countertransference feeling of affection, lack of empathy skills, lack of self-integration, a low level conceptualization skill than 'counseling proceeding' group. The 'premature termination' group was perceived as low of therapeutic helping relationship as assistant than 'counseling proceeding' group.
4) 'Premature termination' group and 'consultation premature termination' group and 'counseling proceeding' group, there were difference in attend of seminar. 'Consultation premature termination' group showed the highest rate in attend of seminar.
5) In the therapeutic process for children, in 'Process', 'counseling proceeding' group was the highest. And 'consultation premature termination' group, 'premature termination' group have been classified in order of distribution frequency. In countertransference management ability, 'consultation premature termination' group, 'premature termination' group was distinct group, but it was similar to 'counseling proceeding' group.
The 'Process' had been appeared in order of empathy ability, conceptualization skill, self-integration. finally, perception that was good therapeutic relationship with children was similar group between 'consultation premature termination' group and 'counseling proceeding' group but 'premature termination' group was perceived as low of therapeutic helping relationship.
6) In the therapeutic process for parents, 'counseling proceeding' group was most well used microskills. The next had been appeared in order of 'consultation premature termination' group, 'premature termination' group. Anxiety of parents counseling process was that 'premature termination' group was highest, and the next group was 'consultation premature termination' group and 'counseling proceeding' group was lowest. The countertransference of affection was that 'counseling proceeding' group was most felt as higher. The next had appeared in order of 'consultation premature termination' group, 'premature termination' group. Also, in empathy ability, conceptualization skill, self-integration of countertransference management ability had been classified as similar group between 'consultation premature termination' group and 'counseling proceeding' group, and 'consultation premature termination' group was classified as different group with 'premature termination' group.
This study can help to solve the premature termination problem as investigating of variables related to premature termination of novice play therapist. These result can help novice play therapist as well as counseling center of novice play therapy, and will provide valuable information to process of education and supervision.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 초심 놀이치료자의 미완종결을 복합적인 원인에 의해 발생하는 다차원적인 문제로 보고, 초심 놀이치료자의 미완종결과 관련된 다양한 변인들이 무엇인지 조사하고자 하였다. 선행연구를 통해 전문적 경험, 아동상담 과정, 부모상담 과정 변인 등을 미완종결 관련 변인으로 추출하였다. 전문적 경험 변인에는 상담경력 기간, 총사례 수, 현재 사례수, 슈퍼비젼 횟수, 슈퍼비젼 행동, 자기분석 여부 및 횟수, 집단상담 여부 및 횟수, 상담과목 이수 횟수, 학회 및 세미나 참여 횟수가 포함되었고, 상담 과정 변인에는 자기효능감, 상태불안, 역전이 감정, 역전이 행동, 역전이 관리 능력, 치료관계 등이 아동상담 과정과 부모상담 과정 모두에 포함되었다. 이들 변인이 미완종결 집단과 상담지속 집단에서 나타나는 차이를 검증하였고, 추가적으로 합의를 통해 미완종결 하는 집단을 포함하여 미완종결 집단과 합의 미완종결 집단의 차이도 검증하였다.
연구대상은 상담 경력 3년 이하의 초심 놀이치료자 53명으로 한 치료자가 3사례에 응답하여, 총 사례수는 142사례였다. 자료 분석은 빈도와 백분율, 요인분석, Cronbach α계수, t-test, 일원변량분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구에서 밝혀진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
1) 초심 놀이치료자의 미완종결 집단이 상담 지속 집단보다 일주일 사례가 더 많은 것으로 두 집단에서 차이가 나타났다.
2) 초심 놀이치료자의 아동 상담 과정에서 미완종결 집단이 상담지속 집단에 비해 자기효능감의 모든 측면에서 낮게 지각했고, 애정과 관련된 역전이 감정을 덜 느끼며, 역전이 관리능력 측면에서 공감능력이 떨어지고 자기통합 수준이 낮고, 개념화 기술이 부족하고, 치료적 협력을 덜 한다고 지각하고 있었다.
3) 초심 놀이치료자의 부모상담 과정에서 미완종결 집단이 상담 지속 집단에 비해 자신의 능력에 대해 더 많은 불안을 지각하고, 자기효능감 측면에서 세부상담 기술이 떨어지고, 애정과 관련된 역전이 감정을 덜 느끼며, 역전이 관리능력 측면에서 공감능력이 떨어지고, 자기통합 수준이 낮고, 개념화 기술이 부족하고, 조력자로서 협력하는 치료관계와 감정의 관계가 낮은 것으로 지각하고 있었다.
4) 초심 놀이치료자의 미완종결 집단과 합의 미완종결 집단 상담지속 집단 중 세미나 참석은 합의 미완종결 집단이 가장 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다.
5) 아동상담 과정에서 상담과정을 보다 더 잘 이해하고 목표를 향해 상담을 진행해 가는 과정과 관련된 능력은 상담지속 집단이 가장 높았고, 다음으로 합의 미완종결 집단, 미완종결 집단 순으로 나타났다. 또한 역전이 관리능력 측면에서는 합의 미완종결 집단은 미완종결 집단과 확연히 구분되고, 상담지속 집단과는 동질 집단을 이루면서, 공감능력과 개념화 기술, 자기통합 순으로 능력이 발휘되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 치료자가 아동과 치료적 협력관계가 잘 맺어졌다고 지각하는 것은 합의 미완종결 집단과 상담지속 집단이 동질 집단을 이루는 반면, 미완종결 집단은 치료적 협력 관계를 더 낮게 지각하고 있었다.
6) 부모상담 과정에서 상담지속 집단이 세부상담 기술을 가장 잘 활용하는 것으로 나타났고, 다음으로 합의 미완종결 집단, 미완종결 집단 순으로 나타났다. 부모상담 과정에서 느끼는 불안은 미완종결 집단이 가장 높았고, 다음으로 합의 미완종결 집단이며, 상담지속 집단이 가장 낮게 나타났고, 애정과 관련된 역전이 감정은 상담지속 집단이 강렬하게 느끼고, 다음으로 합의 미완종결 집단, 그 다음은 미완종결 집단으로 나타났다. 또한 역전이 관리능력은 공감능력, 개념화 기술, 자기통합 측면에서 합의 미완종결 집단은 상담지속 집단과 동질한 능력을 이루며, 미완종결 집단과 차이를 나타냈다.
본 연구는 초심 놀이치료자의 미완종결에 관련된 변수를 조사함으로써 미완종결 문제점 해소에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 연구 결과는 초심 놀이치료자에게 뿐만 아니라 기관에서 초심 놀이치료자를 관리하는데 도움을 주며, 교육과 슈퍼비젼 과정에 유용한 정보를 제공할 것이다.
