    요 약


    고대의 주조품은 표면처리 기술이 발달되지 않아 출토유물들의 표면을 관찰하면 거푸집 방식의 추론이 가능하다. 그때에 기술로는 주조품을 표면처리, 그라인딩 등 가공처리는 할 수 없는 상태에서 생활에 그대로 적용되었기 때문에 고대 무쇠 솥 표면을 관찰하면 거푸집의 형태를 알 수 있어 무쇠 솥 제작기법이 판단할 수 있다.
    이 연구에서는 현대 무쇠 솥 제작공정을 현장에서 공정과정을 조사하여 고대 무쇠 솥 유물을 보고 그 최종 성형 방식에 따라 주조품으로 분류된 철기에 적용된 제작 공정을 추론하였다. 우선 표지유물을 중심으로 금속침입현상을 보면 변화된 것으로 나타났다. 금속침입현상은 거푸집 분할방식에 의하여 세로방식에서 가로방식을 변화되어 4단계로 구분된다.

    제1단계는 무쇠 솥이 출현되어 토기형태이며, 분할선은 세로방향으로 나타났다. 청동검의 거푸집방식과 동일하게 세로방식이 사용되었음을 알 수 있다.
    제2단계는 항아리형태로서 동체 중심부에 가로 분할선이 나타나며, 바닥에서 분할선과 끝부분에서 분할선 길이가 거의 동일하여 거푸집의 상부와 하부의 높이가 동일한 것으로 판단된다. 가로 분할선 형태이며, 동체부의 어깨에서 솥 끝부분까지 직선 형태가 추가되었다.
    제3단계는 동체 중심부를 살펴보면 분할선이 감추어지고 굵은 돌대형태로 변화된 단계로서 손잡이 역할에는 충분하여 錪(전)의 출현단계로 설정할 수 있다. 한층 더 주조기술력도 발전된 것으로 전의 형태보다 앞선 단계로서 초기 단계로 돌대형으로 되어 있다.

    고대의 주조품은 표면처리 기술이 발달되지 않아 출토유물들의 표면을 관찰하면 거푸집 방식의 추론이 가능하다. 그때에 기술로는 주조품을 표면처리, 그라인딩 등 가공처리는 할 수 없는 상태에서 생활에 그대로 적용되었기 때문에 고대 무쇠 솥 표면을 관찰하면 거푸집의 형태를 알 수 있어 무쇠 솥 제작기법이 판단할 수 있다.
    이 연구에서는 현대 무쇠 솥 제작공정을 현장에서 공정과정을 조사하여 고대 무쇠 솥 유물을 보고 그 최종 성형 방식에 따라 주조품으로 분류된 철기에 적용된 제작 공정을 추론하였다. 우선 표지유물을 중심으로 금속침입현상을 보면 변화된 것으로 나타났다. 금속침입현상은 거푸집 분할방식에 의하여 세로방식에서 가로방식을 변화되어 4단계로 구분된다.
