유아교사와 부모의 동반자적 협력관계와 의사소통 = Cooperative Partnerships and Communication between Child Care Teachers and Parents

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아교육기관에서 동반자적협력관계와 의사소통에 대해 알아보고 부모와 교사의 동반자적 협력관계를 위한 인식과 중요성, 노력정도, 의사소통만족에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 그러한 목적에 따라서 제기된 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
1.동반자적 협력관계에 대한 부모-교사의 인식은 어떠한가?
2.동반자적 협력관계를 위해 부모-교사는 어떤 노력을 하고 있는가?
3.동반자적 협력관계를 위한 의사소통에 만족하고 있는가?
본 연구를 위해 경상남도에 위치하고 있는 유아교육기관에 자녀를 보내고 있는 부모와 재직 중인 교사를 대상으로 협력관계와 의사소통에 대해 알아보았다.
설문지는 의사소통과 부모-교사간 협력관계에 대한 내용으로 구성되었으며, 고혜진(2009)이 수정 번안한 The Caregiver-Parent Partnership Scale(부모용)과 김민정(2010)의 어머니-유아교사 간 의사소통 방법에 대한 만족 척도, 손환희(2009)의 부모-교사 간 의사소통에 관한 질문을 일부를 수정 번안한 최광희(2004)의 질문지를 참조하였다.
부모용 질문지와 교사용 질문지로 따로 구성하였고 부모 300명, 교사 100명 총 400부의 설문지를 배부하며 최종, 부모 262명, 교사 95명으로 총 357부의 질문지를 분석 자료로 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 14.0에 코딩한 후 분석, 일원배치 변량분석(One-way ANOVA)과 독립표본 t-검정(independent ttest), -검정을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 부모-교사 모두 동반자적 협력관계에 대해 ‘부모가 유치원에 와서 직접 유아의 학습활동에 참여하는 것을 포함하여 가정에서 유아와 함께 하는 교육활동까지 포함하는 것’이라는 공통된 인식을 갖고 있었다.
둘째. 동반자적 협력관계를 위해 부모-교사 모두 대부분의 문항에서 노력하고 있다고 답하였으나 부모보다는 교사가 조금 더 많이 노력하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 동반자적 협력관계를 위한 의사소통 대부분의 항목에서 만족한다고 나타났으며 부모보다 교사의 만족도가 조금 더 높은 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzes cooperative partnerships and communications within child education organizations. It also examines the perceptions and importance of cooperative partnerships between teachers and parents, the extent of the efforts to establish cooperative relationships, and the degree of satisfaction with the communications between teachers and parents. To this end, the following questions were posed.
1. What are parents & teachers perceptions of the cooperative partnership?
2. What efforts do parents & teachers make to establish a cooperative partnership?
3. Are the parents & teachers satisfied with the communications to establish a cooperative partnership?
The cooperative relationship between parents and teachers, as well as the communication between the two, was examined using parents with children in child education organizations located in Gyeongnam Province and their teachers.
A survey dealing with the communications and cooperative relationship between parents and teachers was constructed. This survey was based on the modified and adapted version of the Caregiver-Parent Partnership Scale (for parents) established by Ko Hye-jin (2009), the Communication between Parents and Teachers Satisfaction Scale developed by Kim Min-jeong (2010), and the questionaries prepared by Choi Gwang-hee (2004), which was in itself a partial modification of the Parents-Teachers Communications developed by Son Hwan-hee (2009).
Separate questionaries were prepared for parents and teachers. The survey was distributed to 300 parents and 100 teachers. A total of 357 surveys, namely 262 from parents and 95 from teachers, were used for the analysis data. The collected data was coded and analyzed based on the SPSS 14.0 program. A One-way ANOVA, independent t-test, and -test were also conducted.
The study results can be summarized as follows.
First, the parents and teachers agreed that 'parents participation in the children's educational activities should include both activities at home and learning activities within the kindergarten."
Second, on the majority of questions, both parents and teachers answered that they made efforts to establish a cooperative partnership. However, the teachers were found to make more efforts to establish a cooperative partnership than the parents.
Third, on the majority of questions, both parents and teachers showed themselves satisfied with the communications related to the establishment of a cooperative partnership. The satisfaction of teachers was found to be higher than that of parents.
