The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of achievement goal orientation on enjoyment factors and the quality of subjective life for life dance women's participant. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, participants who took life dance program at local sports centers and cultural centers in Gyeonggi-do in 2012 were selected as a population (N=300) and the data of 246 participants were analyzed by using convenience sampling methods. Questionnaires were used as a research tool and one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were used to process the data by applying SPSS WIN 18.0 The results of analyzing the data were seen below.
First, based on the results of examining the differences in achievement goal orientation according to individual characters, there were no statistically significant differences in both ages and sports career and in the results of examining the differences in enjoyment factors according to individual characters, significant differences in ages were observed in sociability and acknowledgement and there were no significant differences in sports career. Based on the results of examining the differences in the quality of subjective life according to individual characters, no significant differences were observed in ages and dance experiences.
Second, with regard to the results of examining the effects of achievement goal orientation on enjoyment factors, in the effects of achievement goal orientation on interests, both self-goal and task goal had a positive effect and in behavioral commitment, in only health and sociability, positive effects were observed, and no effects were observed in acknowledgement.
Third, based on the results of examining the effects of achievement goal orientation on the quality of subjective life, positive effects were observed only in task-goal.
Fourth, with regard to the results of examining the effects of enjoyment factors on the quality of subjective life, there were statistical effects.
