대학생의 행복이 합리적 진로의사결정에 미치는 영향

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research was to investigate the impact of happiness of undergraduate students on their rational career decision-making. A total of 301 college students including 141 males and 160 females at a university located in the Daegu city participated in this research. The measures used were the scales assessing positive emotion, engagement, positive interpersonal relations, accomplishment and meaning of life. The collected data were analyzed by using Pearson’s product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis.
The results of the study are as follows. First, it was revealed that positive emotion, engagement, accomplishment and meaning of life which are sub-variables for happiness of college students had a significant effect on student’s rational career decision-making, which means there was a significant positive correlation.
Second, the results showed that happiness consisting of positive emotion, engagement, positive interpersonal relations, accomplishment and meaning of life, sub-variables of happiness, had an impact on student’s rational career decision-making, which means happy students can make a rational decision on their career.
Third, it was found that meaning of life, positive emotion, positive interpersonal relations, engagement and accomplishment in order had a direct influence on student’s rational career decision-making. In addition, when it comes to positive interpersonal relations, it was revealed that the more students had positive interpersonal relations, the less they made rational career decisions.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 행복이 합리적 진로의사결정에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 D시에 소재한 대학생 301(남141명, 여160명)명을 대상으로 하여 긍정적 정서 척도, 몰입 척도, 긍정적 대인관계 척도, 성취 척도, 삶의 의미 척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료에 대하여 Pearson의 적률상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생 행복의 하위변인인 긍정적 정서, 몰입, 성취, 삶의 의미는 합리적 진로의사결정에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 대학생의 행복이 합리적 진로의사결정에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 행복한 대학생이 합리적 진로의사결정을 잘 한다는 것을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 대학생의 합리적 진로의사결정에 행복의 하위변인이 미치는 직접효과는 삶의 의미가 가장 긍정적인 영향이 높았고, 긍정적 정서, 긍정적 대인관계, 몰입, 성취 순으로 나타났으며 긍정적 대인관계는 합리적 진로의사결정이 높을수록 긍정적 대인관계가 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
