The Relationship among Teacher Efficacy, Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention of Young Children Physical Education Teacher

The objective of this study is to reveal the relationships among of teacher efficacy, job satisfaction and turnover intention of young children's physical education teachers.
In order to achieve such study objective, this study conducted the stratified cluster random sampling for 169 young children's physical deucation teachers who work for kindergartens and children care centers in Seoul and Gyeonggido.
First, there are partially significant differences among the teacher efficacy, job satisfaction and turnover intention in accordance with the demographic characteristics, the level of education and work experience.
Second, the teacher effficacy has significant effect on job satisfaction and turnover intention. The teacher efficacy has static influence on job satisfaction; the higher teacher efficacy, the higher the job satisfaction, the study shows.
The teacher efficacy has negative influence on turnover intention; the higher teacher efficacy, the lower its turnover.
Third, the job satisfaction has significant effect on the turnover. The job satisfaction has negative influence on turnover; the study suggests that when the autonomy, rewarding and pride of teachers were high, the turnover seemed to be lower.
