장애전담어린이집과 일반어린이집 교사의 임파워먼트 관련 변인간의 관계 = (The) correlation on the related variables of empowerment between teachers in special child daycare center and general daycare center

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 부산광역시, 경남, 경북, 전남지역의 장애전담어린이집과 일반어린이집에 근무하는 교사 486명을 대상으로 임파워먼트와 관련 변인인 직무만족도, 직무스트레스, 조직헌신도, 전문성 인식의 차이와 배경변인별 차이, 그리고 임파워먼트와 관련 변인 간의 관계를 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 설문조사 방법으로 수집된 자료는 SPSS 12.0 for windows를 이용하였으며, 장애전담 어린이집 교사와 일반 어린이집 교사의 임파워먼와 관련 변인의 차이를 살펴보기 위해 t-검증을 실시하였다. 장애전담어린이집 교사와 일반어린이집 교사의 임파워먼트와 관련 변인에 대한 배경변인별 차이를 살펴보기 위하여 변량분석(MANOVA)을 실시하였으며 중다변량분석 후에 집단 간의 차이는 scheffé 검증을 실시하였다. 이를 위해 배경변인인 연령수준, 경력수준, 학력수준, 담당아동 연령을 각각 독립변인으로 하고 임파워먼트와 관련 변인 직무만족도, 직무스트레스, 조직헌신도, 전문성 인식을 종속변인으로 설정하는 중다변량분석(MANOVA)을 실시하였다. 마지막으로, 장애전담어린이집 교사와 일반어린이집 교사의 임파워먼트와 관련 변인간의 관계를 살펴보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 장애전담어린이집 교사의 임파워먼트와 관련 변인의 수준은 일반어린이집 교사에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애전담어린이집 교사와 일반어린이집 교사들의 교사임파워먼트와 관련 변인들은 배경변인에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 교사들의 임파워먼트와 관련 변인은 연령과 경력, 담당아동 연령에 따라 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 장애전담어린이집 교사와 일반어린이집 교사의 임파워먼트와 관련 변인은 유의미한 상관을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 교사들의 임파워먼트 증진을 위해 직무만족도, 조직헌신도, 전문성 인식의 수준을 높이고 저해요인인 직무스트레스를 줄일 수 있는 방안을 마련하여야 해야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship on the variables related to empowerments between teachers in special day care center and general day care center. The empowerments included differences of job satisfaction, job stress, organizational commitment, and awareness of professionalism, and background variables. 487 teachers in special child day care center and general day care center from Busan, Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk, and Jeonnam participated in this study. A questionnaire was used for data collection. Data collected were computerized in SPSS 12.0 version for windows. T-test was used to analyze the difference of variables related to empowerments between teachers in two groups. In addition, MANOVA was used to analyze the difference of background variables related to empowerments between teachers in two groups. Then, Scheffe test was used to find the difference between two groups. Independent variables consisted of age, career, education, and a child’s age whom the teacher take care of, whereas job satisfaction, job stress, organizational commitment, and awareness of professionalism on empowerment were composed as dependent variables. Lastly, correlation was used to analyze relationship between teachers in two groups. The results are followings; First, teachers in the special day care center were lower on the variables related to empowerments than those of teachers in general day care center. Second, there was the significant difference between teachers in two groups on the background variables related to empowerments. In particular, the result showed that there was the difference between teachers in two groups on age, career, and a child’s age whom the teachers take care of. Third, the result showed that there was the correlation between teachers in two groups on the variables related to empowerments. As a result, we need to fine ways that not only improve job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and awareness of professionalism related to empowerments, but also relieve the job stress of teachers.
