어머니의 양육스트레스, 양육행동, 양육효능감과 유아의 사회적 능력 간의 관계 = The Relations of Mother's Parenting Stress, Parenting Behavior, and Parenting Efficacy to Children's Social Competence

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relations of mother's parenting stress, parenting behavior, and parenting efficacy to children's social competence. The subjects of study were the children who attended 5 kindergartens located in Kumi-si and Chilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Exactly 300 survey copies were distributed and 234 were collected. The collected data were processed by the Pearson's correlation analysis to identify the relationship between mother's parenting stress, parenting behavior, parenting efficacy and children's social competence, using SPSS 18.0 program. Simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis, were conducted to investigate the explanatory strength which affected mother's parenting stress, parenting behavior, parenting efficacy and children's social competence.
The results of the analyses were as follows;
First, mother's parenting stress and children's social competence recognized by mothers had the negative correlation. The uncontrollable disposition of a child, which is the sub-class of mother's parenting stress, was negatively related to children's social competence recognized by mothers.
Second, mother's parenting behavior and children's social competence recognized by mothers had the positive correlation. The warmth and encouragement, which is the sub-class of mother's parenting behavior was positively related to children's social competence recognized by mother's.
Third, mother's parenting efficacy and children's social competence recognized by mother's had the positive correlation. And mother's parenting efficacy and children's social competence recognized by mothers were positively related to personal adaptability.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육스트레스, 어머니의 양육행동, 어머니의 양육효능감과 유아의 사회적 능력과의 관계를 알아보고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다.
본 연구의 대상은 경상북도 구미시와 칠곡군에 소재 한 5개 유치원에 다니는 유아와 그들의 어머니를 연구대상으로 하였으며, 총 300부의 질문지를 배포하여 234부를 회수하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 어머니의 양육스트레스, 양육행동, 양육효능감과 유아의 사회적 능력과의 관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson의 적률상관분석을 실시하였으며, 어머니의 양육스트레스, 양육행동, 양육효능감이 유아의 사회적 능력에 미치는 설명력을 살펴보기 위해 단순회귀분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다.
선행연구와의 논의를 통해 밝혀진 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 어머니의 양육스트레스와 어머니가 인지하고 있는 유아의 사회적 능력과는 부적상관이 있었으며, 어머니의 양육스트레스 하위영역인 유아의 까다로운 기질이 어머니가 인지하고 있는 유아의 사회적 능력을 부정적으로 설명하는 예측변인이었다.
둘째, 어머니의 양육행동과 어머니가 인지하고 있는 유아의 사회적 능력과는 정적상관이 있었으며, 어머니의 양육행동 하위영역인 온정․격려가 어머니가 인지하고 있는 유아의 사회적 능력을 긍정적으로 설명하는 예측변인이었다.
셋째, 어머니의 양육효능감과 어머니가 인지하고 있는 유아의 사회적 능력과는 정적상관이 있었으며, 어머니의 양육효능감은 어머니가 인지하고 있는 유아의 사회적 능력 하위영역인 대인적응성을 긍정적으로 설명하는 예측변인이었다.
