중학생용 자기성찰 척도 개발 = A Study on the Self-Reflection Scale

The purpose of this study was to develop the Self-Reflection Scale(SRS), wich measured the degree of the self reflection of the middle school students. To achieve this purpose, a rating process by experts yielded 75items from previous studies and measuring instruments. Then 34 items were selected for further study. seven hundred thirty seven middle school students were selected to participate in this study. The results of this study were as follows: First, the Self-Reflection Scale(SRS) with 34 items related to the contents about self-Reflection was developed. To examine internal consistency and split-half reliability, data were collected from samples of 737 middle school students, and to verify 4-week test-retest reliability, data were collected from samples of 116 middle school students. The result showed high internal consistency(Cronbach's α = .924), split-half reliability(r = .839), and test-retest reliability(r = .925). Therefore, the consistency of the scale was satisfactory. second, the five factors to the scale have been extracted from the factor analysis. The five factors were consisted of 'awareness of maum(心)(10 items)', 'shame(9 items)', 'self examination(5 items)', 'solemn mind and calm oneself in daily life(6 items)', 'self improvement(4 items)'. The factor structure well reflected characteristics of the Self-Reflection of the Korean middle school students.
