To investigate these relations researcher used quantitative research methodology. Researcher analyzed descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression using SPSS 18.0 Korean Version.
The findings were as followings: First, 3 sub-variables(community-based experiences, academy-based experiences, and society-based experiences) of experiences in the lifelong learning institutions were positively correlated with adult learners' educational satisfaction and persistence at α=.01. Second, 2 sub- variables(academy-based experiences, and society-based experiences) of experiences in the lifelong learning institutions might make influences on adult learners' educational satisfaction. R2 was .605. Third, 2 sub-variables(community-based experiences and academy-based experiences) of experiences in the lifelong learning institutions might make influences on adult learners' persistence. R2 was .320.
Based on the results, some implications were suggested as followings: First, adult learners' academy-based experiences in lifelong learning institutions of universities and colleges might make an important role in making educational satisfaction and persistence high. Second, adult learners' society-based experiences in lifelong learning institutions of universities and colleges could make an positive influence in educational satisfaction. Third, adult learners' community-based experiences in lifelong learning institutions of universities and colleges might make an positive effect on educational persistence.
