중국과 한국 민요의 비교 연구 : 근 현대 작곡가의 작품을 중심으로 = A Comparative Study of Folk Songs in China and South Korea: With the Compositions of mainly the Contemporary and Modern Composers

Every country in the world has somethings to reflect their national characteristics of traditional arts and cultural backgrounds. Folk is one of the kind of national music culture. Folk is the most direct and close contact with country living, and its authors are the peoples, to express their feelings, wills and desires in their works and lifes ,then became a popular folk. It is compiled through extensive improvisation for the masses, oral sung gradually formed and developed, and has a long historical tradition of deep and broad cultural background. Music forms a concise and simple, approachable, lively and flexible. The folk is of religious, love, drinking, dancing and music festival, and so on.
In this article, through the historical background of China and South Korea, as well as comparative analysis of two composers, from the composers, lyrics, music, performance, melody, harmony, rhythm, etc. to reflect the musical culture of the two countries characteristics. In their own national existence of the same character in common, common also to show their national personality.
