ABSTRACT


A Study on Mother's Receptive Attitude
toward Children's Handicap

The purpose of this study was to investigate the accepting attitude?to disabilities of mothers󰡑of children with disabilities using the tools?that was proved high validity.
The subjects of this study were 272 mothers󰡑of children with disabilities at kindergartens, day care centers, and elementary schools national-widely.
It was confirmed there was a?significant difference in mothers󰡑accepting attitude toward children's handicap in consideration of age group?of children and?distribution of residential district.
And this study could be significant?to provide basic data as?educational services for mothers of?children with disabilities.
