In this study, a survey was carried out on 117 teachers in charge in 4 specialized high schools around the capital area and 618 students in their class through random sampling to analyze the effects of teaching efficacy on transformational leadership and the casual relationship on assuming teaching efficacy as an antecedent of transformational leadership and the relationship between teachers' transformational leadership and students' academic self-efficacy, examine the teacher perception of teaching efficacy and transformational leadership and the student perception of transformational leadership and academic self-efficacy, and figure out the perceptional difference according to these background and component factors.
First, the perception of teaching efficacy according to teachers' general characteristics(sex, age, teaching experience, position, subject in charge) showed that for female teachers, high age, teaching experience more than 21 years and chief teachers, their self-regulated efficacy is high, but there is no significant difference in subjects in charge.
Second, the component factors of transformational leadership showed that the perception of vision suggestion is the highest, followed by virtues of a teacher, professional abilities and authorization. For female teachers, high age, teaching experience more than 21 years, and chief teachers according to their general characteristics, the perception of authorization, professional abilities, vision suggestion and professional abilities, and teacher virtues was respectively high, but there was no statistically significant difference in subjects in charge.
Third, the teaching efficacy and transformational leadership had a positive relationship.
Fourth, the student perception of transformational leadership components showed that the perception of professional abilities is the highest, followed by authorization, virtues of a teacher, and vision suggestion. For male students and second-year grade according to students' general background factors(sex, grade), and female teachers, low age and short teaching experience according to teachers' general characteristics, the perception of general teachers' transformational leadership was high, showing the difference between the student perception of transformational leadership and the teacher perception of transformational leadership.
Fifth, the student perception of academic self-efficacy components showed that students' confidence is the highest, followed by self-regulated efficacy and task difficulty. For the age of teachers in their 40's, students' confidence was high.
Sixth, the teachers' transformational leadership and students' academic self-efficacy had a positive relationship.
By above-mentioned findings, there was a perceptional difference in that all teachers' teaching efficacy, transformational leadership, and students' academic self-efficacy were examined depending on the subjective position, but teachers' transformational leadership was an imperatively necessary factor for the improvement of students' academic self-efficacy. Students' belief in their abilities has a bigger effect on the selection of learning tasks, efforts, durability, and restoration than their real abilities, emphasizing teachers' leadership to increase their teaching efficacy in the educational arena. Consequently, it is necessary to research leadership ways as a good teacher in that educational experience formed in their school days has an important effect on individual lives and life.
