In the chapter 5, effective methods for teaching Korean proverbs to Japanese learners were suggested, divided into intermediate and advanced levels.
Finally, the conclusions of this study presented in Chapter 6. As mentioned earlier, the most noteworthy thing about this paper is that the proverbs from the materials made by the domestic Korean language teaching institutes and the list of the saying by the duplicate rankings, which is focused on the proverbs from the sample questions of the TOPIK test, from the first to 18th. Based on that, each of the proverbs is compared according to the materials (animal, human, food), subject (language, life, family, social, intelligent, reasonable, behavior, mental).
Besides this study can be the meaningful resources to the Japanese, Korean language learners by providing an effective method to teaching proverbs for the Japanese, the interests in Korean saying and an opportunity to feel the Korean proverb easy. However, it remains with inconvenience that this paper couldn't select the proverbial list for the Japanese, Korean language learners, and that the plans couldn't have practiced in the field of education. It is expected that following researches supplementing the those shortcomings are continuously to be made.
