컨설팅 유형에 따른 중소기업의 컨설팅 서비스 결정요인에 관한 연구 = (A) study on the determinants of consulting services for SMEs by consulting type

Consulting is usually those with expertise in specific areas (or groups) that target areas of need or issues related to providing technology means problem-solving activities. Companies business activities with regard to what is driving consulting primarily management consulting in the meaning of what he thought the basic way of doing business from the professional production methods, ranging from enterprises of all business activities in the sphere of technical expertise available and the problem solving through active Specific means and improvement activities.
In this study, according to the type of small business consulting services were about the deciding factor. To this end, recognition, and consulting services to companies using consulting services for all stages of the determinants of SMEs' characteristics were analyzed. In fact, this factor characteristics and impact on business performance was also analyzed. In addition to this analysis by consulting firms with consulting and small business support agency for each of the two types of consultation conducted by the differences were analyzed according to type.
To achieve the purpose of this study, first the various previous studies and related literature, based on data provided the rationale was to proceed. Based on this study were carried out two empirical research results based on small business consulting support for business development plans were proposed.
First study aims to SMEs Consulting Behaviors general information about them to see ‘Consulting experience, whether and experience depending on the type consulting services for small business recognition and use of behavior are the differences?' The research questions were set. Small business consulting services specifically to determine the factors that affect the consultancy is expected to choose and through questionnaires for this specific information about the characteristics of small businesses was examined.
According to research, small business consulting services and related consulting experience in a variety of factors and whether they have clear differences, depending on the type of experience that you could know. Also, depending on the situation of small businesses the same consulting company also different factors seem to recognize that and could see action. Therefore, the introduction of small consulting firms and affects decisions in terms of making the conclusion that a variety of factors could be obtained.
In the second study the determinants of small business consulting services by two different types of consulting that were evaluated. These factors also determine the impact on business performance of SMEs also investigated for.
According to research, set up four different hypotheses, and 8 detail all assumptions appear to be statistically significant, as the hypothesis of this study was adopted. Therefore, this study set in the small business consulting services consulting services to determine the factors of awareness, preference consulting services, consulting services, utilization, management and consulting services to the satisfaction of both were affected.
These findings, based on future SME support institutions to provide consultancy support projects of the most basic direction of ‘Consulting company specialized expertise and small business support agency business stability, the combined effect of small business consulting support for business' as I suggested.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

컨설팅(consulting)이란 주로 특정 분야에 대한 전문성을 갖춘 자(혹은 집단)가 해당 분야를 필요로 하는 대상에게 관련기술을 제공하거나 현안문제를 해결해 주는 활동을 의미한다. 기업들이 경영활동과 관련하여 추진하게 되는 컨설팅은 주로 경영컨설팅의 의미로 쓰이며, 이는 기본적인 업무방식부터 전문적인 생산방식에 이르기까지 기업의 모든 경영활동영역에 있어서 전문기술의 제공이나 문제점 해결을 통한 적극적이고 구체적인 개선활동을 의미한다.
본 연구에서는 컨설팅 유형에 따른 중소기업의 컨설팅 서비스 결정요인에 관해 알아보았다. 이를 위해 기업들이 컨설팅 서비스를 인식 및 이용하는 모든 과정에 대해 컨설팅 서비스 결정요인에 따른 중소기업의 특성을 분석하였다. 그리고 이러한 요인별 특성이 실제로 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 분석하였다. 또한 이러한 분석을 컨설팅 전문기업을 통한 컨설팅과 중소기업 지원기관을 통한 컨설팅이라는 두 가지 유형에 대해 각각 실시함으로써, 유형에 따른 차이점도 분석하였다.
본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 우선 각종 선행연구 및 관련자료를 바탕으로 문헌연구를 진행하여 이론적 근거를 마련하였다. 이를 토대로 두 가지의 실증연구를 진행하였으며, 연구결과를 바탕으로 중소기업 컨설팅 지원사업의 발전 방안에 대해 제언하였다.
첫 번째 연구에서는 우리나라 중소기업들의 컨설팅 이용행동 전반에 관한 내용들을 알아보기 위해 ‘컨설팅 경험여부 및 경험유형에 따라 컨설팅 서비스에 대한 중소기업의 인식과 이용행동에는 차이가 있는가?’라는 연구문제를 설정하였다. 특별히 중소기업이 컨설팅 서비스를 결정하는데 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 컨설팅 요인을 선정하고, 이에 대한 구체적인 설문문항을 통해 해당내용에 대한 중소기업의 특성을 알아보고자 하였다.
연구결과에 따르면, 중소기업의 컨설팅 서비스 이용과 관련된 다양한 요인들은 컨설팅 경험여부 및 경험유형에 따라 분명한 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 중소기업은 자사의 상황에 따라 동일한 컨설팅 요인에 대해서도 전혀 다른 인식과 행동을 보인다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 중소기업이 컨설팅을 도입 및 추진하는데 있어서 영향을 미치는 결정요인은 다양하다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.
두 번째 연구에서는 중소기업의 컨설팅 서비스 결정요인이 컨설팅 유형별로 차이가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 또한 이러한 결정요인들이 중소기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 알아보고자 하였다.
연구결과에 따르면 설정된 4개의 가설 및 8개의 세부가설은 모두 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타나 본 연구의 가설로서 채택되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 설정한 중소기업의 컨설팅 서비스 결정요인인 컨설팅 서비스 인지도, 컨설팅 서비스 선호도, 컨설팅 서비스 활용도, 컨설팅 서비스 만족도는 모두 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 중소기업 지원기관이 제공해야 할 컨설팅 지원사업의 가장 기본적인 방향을 ‘컨설팅 전문기업의 전문성과 중소기업 지원기관의 사업안정성이 합쳐진 효과적인 중소기업 컨설팅 지원사업’이라고 제언하였다.
