일반계 고등학생의 성격적 강점이 학업성취와 주관적 행복에 미치는 영향 = The Influence of General High School Students' Character Strengths upon Learning Achievement and Subjective Happiness

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 일반계 고등학생의 성격적 강점이 학업성취와 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위하여 대구광역시 소재 S고등학교 1학년을 대상으로 하였다. 사용한 측정도구는 VIA Survey for Youth, 학업성취도, 주관적 행복감 척도이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 17.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 조사 대상자들의 성별 분포를 알아보기 위하여 빈도분석을 실시하였고, 각 척도의 신뢰도를 검증하기 위하여 Cronbach's α 계수를 산출하였다. 또 변인들의 상관관계를 살펴보기 위하여 Pearson의 이변량 상관분석과 중다 회귀분석, 단계적 중다 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 일반계 고등학생의 성격적 강점이 학업성취와 주관적 행복감에 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 통해 일반계 고등학생의 성격적 강점을 활용한 학업성취와 행복의 증진이 가능하다는 것을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the general high school students' character strengths upon the learning achievement and subjecive happiness. The subjects of this study were students in first grade in S high school located in Daegu. The instruments used for this study were the reduced version of Values in Action Survey for Youth, Learning Achievement and the Subjective Happiness Scale.
The collected data were analyzed by the SPSS 17.0 statistical program. Frequency analysis was conducted to find out distribution by gender and class, and Cronbach's α was computed in order to examine reliability of each scale. In addition, Pearson's bivariate correlation analysis, multi-regression analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were conducted. As a result of analysis, it seemed that the general high school students' character strenghts singnificantly affected the learnig achievement and subjective happiness. This result suggests that it is possible to promote learning achievements and subjective happiness through the general high school students' character strengths.
