표준보육과정에 관한 영아 보육교사의 이해와 실행에 관한 연구 = A research on the understanding and practice of the standard childcare course by childcare teachers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근에는 영아보육의 질적 수준에 대한 관심과 보육에 대한 공적 책임을 강조하고 있다. 그러므로 보육현장에 적용하기 위한 표준보육과정을 개발·보급함으로써 보육교사의 충분한 이해와 창의적이고 통합적인 실행을 통하여 영아보육의 질 향상에 기여할 것이다.
본 연구는 영아 보육교사의 표준보육과정의 효과적인 실행을 위해서 표준보육과정의 이해에 관한 구체적인 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위한 연구문제는 다음과 같다.

1) 표준보육과정 이해와 표준보육과정 영역별 실행정도는 어떠한가?
2) 표준보육과정 이해가 표준보육과정 영역별 실행에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가?

본 연구에서는 경상북도 K시 소재 어린이집 만2세 영아반 보육교사를 대상으로 설문조사하여 265부를 최종 연구 자료로 사용하였다. 연구에 사용된 도구는 표준보육과정, 표준보육과정 영역별 구체적 보육내용, 이한은(2008), 김나경(2008), 김경미(2009), 함현(2009)의 선행연구를 토대로 수정·보완하였다. 수집된 검사자료들의 처리는 각 척도의 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 Cronbach's α 계수를 산출하여 신뢰도 계수로 사용하였으며, 표준보육과정 이해와 표준보육과정 영역별 실행과의 관련성을 알아보기 위해 Pearson의 이변량 상관분석을 실시하였다. 또한, 영아 보육교사의 표준보육과정 이해가 표준보육과정 영역별 실행에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 분석하기 위해서 중다회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 표준교육과정의 이해 수준에 따른 표준보육과정 영역별 내용에 대한 실천의 차이를 알아보기 위해 독립표본 t 검증을 실시하였다. 자료는 SPSS 17.0 프로그램을 이용하여 통계처리 되었다.
본 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 보육교사가 지각한 표준보육과정 이해수준이 높은 그룹이 이해수준이 낮은 그룹보다 표준보육과정 실행정도의 평균이 높은 것을 볼 수 있는데 이는 보육교사가 지각한 표준보육과정 이해수준이 높을수록 표준보육과정 실행정도가 높다라는 것을 의미한다.
둘째, 표준보육과정 이해와 표준보육과정 영역별 실행정도의 유의미한 상관관계를 볼 수 있는데 표준보육과정 이해를 잘 활용하여 표준보육과정 영역별 실행을 높이는 것이 가능한 것으로 해석되었다.
셋째, 표준보육과정 이해가 표준보육과정 영역별 실행에 미치는 영향에서 표준보육과정 이해가 기본생활영역, 신체운동영역, 사회관계영역, 의사소통영역, 자연탐구영역, 예술경험영역, 전체 실행의 모든 영역에서 회귀식이 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났으나, 표준보육과정 이해 하위변인에서의 전체실행은 유의미하게 예측하는 요인이 없는 것으로 나타났다.
이상의 연구결과에 의하면, 영아 보육교사의 표준보육과정에 대한 이해가 무엇보다 중요함을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 보육교사의 표준보육과정에 대한 효율적인 실행을 위해서는 철저한 계획아래 실행되고 평가되어 보육과정에 반영되어야 하며 보육교사마다 구체적인 조력이 요구된다. 더불어 효율성과 효과성의 점검 및 대안 제시부터 단순한 실행 점검·확인까지 모두 아우르는 표준보육과정의 실행이 이루어질 수 있도록 다양한 방법의 정책적 지원이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, the interest in the quality level of childcare has been heightened and the public responsibilities of childcare have been emphasized.So it will contribute to enhancing the quality of child care to develop and disseminate the standard childcare course to be applied to the childcare field and to have childcare teachers sufficiently understand and practice the course creatively and comprehensively.
This research attempted to explore the concrete ways of understanding of the standard childcare course for childcare teachers to practice the standard childcare course effectively. The research questions for this are as follows.
1) How are the understanding of the standard childcare course and the degree of practice of the standard childcare course by realm?
2) What effects does the understanding of the standard childcare course have on the degree of practice of the standard childcare course by realm?
In this research, survey by questionnaires on the 300 childcare teachers of the classes of 2 year-old babies of the nurseries located in K city of Gyeonsangbuk-do was conducted and 265 collected copies of questionnaires were used as research data. As the tools used in this research, the standard childcare course, the detailed contents of childcare by realm of the standard childcare course were revised and supplemented based on the preceding researches by Lee han-eun (2008), Kim Na-gyeong (2008), Kin Gyeong-mi (2009), and Ham Hyeon (2009). As for the processing of the collected data, in order to test the reliability of each scale, Cronbach's α coefficient was computed and used as a reliability coefficient, and in order to examine the correlationbetween the understanding of the standard childcare course and the practice of the standard childcare course by realm, Pearson’s bivariate correlation analysis was conducted. Also, in order to analyze what effects the understanding of the standard childcare course by the childcare teachers has on the degree of practice of the standard childcare course, the multiple regression analysis was conducted, and in order to examine the difference in the contents of the standard childcare course by realm according to the level of the standard childcare course, the independent sample t-test was conducted. The data were statistically processed by using SPSS 17.0 program.
The results of this research are summarized as follows.
First, it can be seen that the group whose level of understanding of the standard childcare course perceived by the childcare teachers is high is higher in the average score of the degree of practice of the standard childcare course than the group whose level of understanding is low. This means that the higher the level of understanding of the standard childcare course by the childcare teachers, the higher the degree of practice of the standard childcare course.
Second, the significant correlation between the understanding of the standard childcare course and the degree of practice of the standard childcare course by realm can be seen. This can be interpreted that it is possible to enhance the practice of the standard childcare course by realm by utilizing the understanding of the standard childcare course.
Third, in the effects of the understanding of the standard childcare course on the practice of the standard childcare course by realm, the regression expression was found to be statistically significant in all the realms of entire practice of basic living, physical exercise, social relationship, communication, enquiry into nature, and artistic experiences, but the entire practice in the subordinate variables of the understanding of the standard childcare course was found to have no factors for significant prediction.
Based on the above-mentioned results of this research, it can be seen that, above all, the understanding of the standard childcare course by childcare teachers is the most important. Accordingly, the practice of the standard childcare course by childcare teachers should be conducted under the thoroughgoing plans and evaluation, and should be reflected on the childcare course, and every childcare teacher is required of concrete assistance. Together with this, diverse ways of systematic supports are needed so that the practice of the standard childcare course from examining the efficiency and effectiveness and presentation of alternatives to examining and confirming of simple practice can be fulfilled.
