This study investigated the living conditions of migrant families through the Multiculturalism and welfare needs, and improve understanding of the survey is to present. Data collection for this marriage immigrants residing in Ulsan, South Korea and the Department conducted a survey targeting 102 and analyzed the conclusion follows.
First, the marriage of immigrants feel great difficulties of communication and education for their children to feel the difficulties and the lack of interaction with family members and neighbors are experiencing the difficulties of life in Korea, respectively.
Second, marriage, immigrants have felt the difficulty of raising children do not know the Korean language learning is a slow, higher, learning and homework support for children in the active help was difficult.
Third, look at the status of home economics, multicultural family in the midst of economic difficulties and a need for the employment of married immigrants were higher.
Fourth, migrant significantly higher marital satisfaction, marital satisfaction was higher than that of Koreans.
Fifth, the neighbors do not work right with the life challenges, include difficulties with uisasotongyijal do not have different skin color or ignored due to cultural differences was also the issue of severance of exchange.
Sixth, migrant civil society organizations and religious groups, most from the Korean experience in education in the service were received.
Seventh, the most multicultural family support policies for Korean and cultural adaptation include education, vocational education and job placement, support the cost of living were the order of age, duration of marriage, depending on the policies needed to show a statistically significant difference was found. .
Based on these findings support the policy of multicultural families suggested improvements are as follows.
First, immigrants married to Korean language skills of communication for providing systematic training with Korean Immigrants and the need for a multi-language services
Second, multicultural families to improve children's language development and social integration and active support for the policy should be established. Child's language development and basic learning skills to improve the institutional mechanisms for child care and education should be provided.
Third, marriage, job training and employment of immigrants, economic and social independence through increased support to strengthen the capacity as members of society to be self supporting active policies are needed.
Fourth, the majority of honyiminja the center's policy of support for the entire family, yet the lack of a policy of integration, because integration policies for multicultural families should be strengthened.
