전문계 고등학교 교육과정에 대한 학생들의 만족도에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

요즘 전문계 고등학교는 시대에 맞지 않는 교육과정을 제공함으로써 입학생의 감소, 중도 탈락생의 증가를 초래하고 있다. 이에 본 논문의 연구 목적은 전문계 고등학교 교육과정에 대한 학생들의 만족도를 조사하여 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌 연구와 자료 분석을 통하여 전문계 고등학교의 전반적인 교육과정을 살펴보았으며, 또한 연구의 실증분석은 가설을 설계 한 후 설문조사와 통계를 통하여 검증하였다. 설문조사는 서울시, 경기도에 위치한 전문계 고등학교 2개교 260명을 대상으로 조사하였다.
본 연구의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 글로벌 시대에 맞게 영어, 중국어 수업을 회화 중심의 수업 과정으로 수정되어야 할 것이다. 또한 기업에서 요구하는 어학시험인 토익, 토플, 텝스 시험을 학생들이 준비할 수 있도록 학교환경을 조성해줘야 할 것이다.
둘째, 전문계 고등학교는 이론수업보다는 기업 현장에 맞는 실무수업 중심의 교육에 비중을 증가시켜야 한다. 즉 산업체 현장과 연결하여 맞춤식 교육을 실시하여야 할 것이다.
셋째, 전문계 고등학교는 직업교육과정이라는 원래의 목적에 부합되는 진로 교육이 잘 이루어져야 할 것이다.
넷째, 학생과 학부모의 의견을 수렴하여 학교 교육과정에 적극적으로 편성하여 운영되어야 할 것이다.
마지막으로, 학생들이 학교생활을 잘 할 수 있도록 학교에서는 세부적인 관심을 기울여야 할 것이다.
본 연구를 통해서 변화하는 시대에 맞는 교육과정을 재검토하여 개선함으로써 전문계 고등학교 학생들이 좀 더 나은 교육환경에서 교육을 받도록 돕는 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently vocational high schools cause reduction of new students and increase of school dropouts by providing curriculum out of synch with the times. Therefore this study aims to inquire into student satisfaction on the curriculum of vocational high school and to provide remedies.
To achieve the goal of study, the overal lcourses of vocational high school was examined by reviewing literature and analyzing data. Also, empiric alanalysis of the study was verified through survey and statistics after planning a hypothesis. The survey was conducted to 260 people in two vocational high schools located in Seoul and Gyeonggi.
The analysis results of this study are as follows:
First, English and Chinese lessons need to be revised to conversation-centered lessons to match the global era. Also, school environment should be made to make students prepare language tests including TOEIC, TOEFL, and TEPS which are requested by companies.
Second, vocational high school shave to increase the ratio of practical lesson-oriented education fitting into the field rather than theoretical lessons. That is to say, lessons should be linked to industry fields and provide a tailored education
Third, vocational high school should conduct career education which meets its original goal called vocational course.
Fourth, the collected view of students and parents should be actively applied to draw up and manage the curriculum of school.
Lastly, schools should pay close attention to students for their good school life
This study is to help students in vocational high schools be educated in a better education environment by reexamining the curriculum to match the changing era and improving it.
