가족의례와 아내의 결혼만족도 간의 관계

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is first to examine the overall tendency on what kinds of activities are carried out as family rituals; what kinds of obstacles there are; and why troubles are made if any. Second, to see the family rituals in accordance with socio-demographic variables, Third, to figure out the relationship between family ritual and wife's marital satisfaction.
For this purpose, the study surveyed 251 wife who had fourth, fifth, or sixth grade children, residing in Pusan and made a final analysis of data obtained from the survey. The collected data were processed using the SPSS/PC for Cronbach?? coefficients, frequencies, percentiles, means, standard deviations, t-test, F-test, etc.
The major findings of this study is summarized as follow :
First, for the dinner ritual, it turned out that a majority of people have a difficult time having a dinner ritual regularly due to 'their busy schedule at work' and 'child's studying at academy'. For the weekend leisure ritual, in case of having a difficulty spending time for weekend leisure ritual , it was because of 'busy schedules at work' and 'lack in common time for all the family members'. In case of vacation ritual, the reason why they can?t get together during vacations was because of 'economic burden'. In birthday ritual, in case wives have trouble with her family members related to birthday ritual, they explained the reason ? 'because family members forget their birthday'. When they have trouble related to tradition ritual, it was mainly because of 'stress from housework burden'.
Second, family ritual discovered significant differences according to the socio-demographic variables such as household income, subjective level of economy, education, period of marriage.
Third, in all dimension such as occurrence, routine, deliberateness, attendance, affect, and symbolic significance, the top ranked group in all these dimension showed high satisfaction in marriage.
Based on the above result, the conclusion is obtained as below :
First, complementing these obstacles and trouble factors will be helpful to establish sound family ritual.
Second, it is necessary to consider socio-demographic characteristics in accordance with kinds of family rituals in order to use family ritual efficiently.
Third, creating and maintaining meaningful family rituals as well as carrying out the structural execution such as occurrence, routine, and deliberateness will make a contribution to lowering wife?s dissatisfaction in marriage.
