A purpose of this study is to grope for the way that can prevent burnout of Caregiver as watch the forecast factors which grasp degree of burnout of Caregiver engaged in Eldercare Center.
I divided it with a personal characteristic, a characteristic environmental business, client characteristics in this study in order to grasp factors of burnout, and I investigated it.
Investigation way of this study used a structured questionnaire , and sampling 113 peoples, they are Caregiver who engaged in Eldercare Center which 4 county of western part Gyeongnam.
Statistical way executed multiple linear regression analysis to see a forecast factor of burnout and correlation analysis with factors to affect to degree of burnout and burnout.
The result of investigation is as follows.
First, a burnout score of Caregiver to work at Eldercare Center is average 2.43 as a while standardized five points of total score. The emotion exhaustion among low-ranking factors of burnout is 2.74 points, personal accomplishment lack is 2.35 points, an inhumanness degree regarding a client is 1.96 points. A trend of burnout comparatively appeared low in order.
The second, personal characteristic of Caregiver to be engaged in Eldercare Center and relation of burnout appeared in statistically meaningful.
The higher scholarship and the more subject of management members they are more experienced burnout.
The third, In the correlations of between general characteristic and burnout, age appeared negative correlation, and scholarship and object number appeared positive correlations.
Fourth, in correlations of the business environment variables and burnout, there were significant correlations among business environment variables, a challenge, financial compensation, comfortablity, promotion, a work load, role vagueness, a role trouble and burnout.
Fifth, the correlation of a client characteristic of Eldercare Center and burnout appeared that numerical a client lower, intimacy with a client is lower, and satisfaction regarding facilities is lower, and relation with client and Caregiver more wasn't friendly, they more experienced burnout.
Finnaly, In order to inquire into a variables to have an influence largest to explain to burnout, I analysis regression. the result of regression analysis appeared that the variables of most influence of burnout were age, working hours, service career and then age were lower, working hours were longer, service career were more, there were more influence to burnout.
Variable to exercise an influence to burnout during characteristic variables environmental business was challenge and conflict. An opportunity of a challenge were fewer and a conflict were more, it appeared that a lot of influences to burnout.
Client characteristic variable to affect to burnout was numerical a client and satisfaction regarding facilities. Burnout was affected when numerical a client cannot be appropriate or satisfaction regarding facilities of a client was low.
In conclusion, variables that can forecast burnout appeared in order business environment variables, a general personal characteristic, client factors.
As a personal characteristic, a characteristic of business environment, client factors work compositely, burnout trend of Caregiver to work at to Eldercare Center understands it in a multidimensional issue, and you shall approach it.
