고등학생의 완벽주의, 불안 및 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로미결정과의 관계 연구 = The relationship between career indecision, perfectionism, anxiety, and career decision-making self-efficacy in high school students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 고등학생의 완벽주의, 불안 및 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로미결정과의 관계를 살펴보고, 완벽주의, 불안 및 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로미결정에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것으로 진로 상담 시 단순한 정보제공보다 내담자의 심리내적인 특성을 파악하는 것이 중요함을 검증하기 위해 진행되었다. 또한 완벽주의, 불안과 진로미결정의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감이 매개변인으로 작용하는지 알아보고자 한다.
이를 위해 서울 및 경기지역에 재학 중인 남녀 고등학생 326명을 대상으로 다차원적 완벽주의 척도, 특성불안 척도, 진로결정 자기효능감 척도, 진로미결정 척도를 각각 실시하여 자료를 수집하였고, 기술 통계분석, 상관분석, 회귀분석이 사용되었으며 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 고등학생의 완벽주의, 불안 및 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로미결정 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 완벽주의와 진로미결정 간에는 부분적인 상관을 보였으며, 불안과 진로미결정은 유의미한 정적 상관을, 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로미결정 간에는 유의미한 부적 상관이 나타났다.
둘째, 고등학생의 완벽주의 성향이 진로미결정에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 완벽주의 하위요인들과 진로미결정 간에 회기분석을 실시한 결과 개인적 기준은 진로미결정에 유의미한 부적 영향을, 부모의 비난은 유의미한 정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 불안이 진로미결정에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 불안과 진로미결정 간에 회기분석을 실시한 결과 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로미결정에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 진로결정 자기효능감의 하위요인들과 진로미결정 간에 회기분석을 실시한 결과 목표선택만이 유의미한 부적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.
다섯째, 완벽주의, 불안과 진로미결정의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 회기분석을 실시한 결과 완벽주의와 진로미결정, 불안과 진로미결정 사이에서 진로결정 자기효능감이 부분 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 완벽주의 성향을 가지고 있고, 심리적으로 불안해하는 고등학생에게 진로를 결정하는 데 있어서 진로결정 자기효능감이 강력한 영향을 미치는 변인임을 시사해 준다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to prove that identifying personality characteristics can be more helpful in deciding high school students' career than simply giving students a few pieces of career information. To this end, this study looks into the relation between high school students' career indecision and three particular factors of personality characteristics: perfectionism, anxiety and career self-efficacy. It also assesses impacts the three factors have on students' career indecision. In addition, it studies whether career self-efficacy serves as a parameter in the relation between career indecision and perfectionism, and career indecision and anxiety respectively. A survey was conducted on 326 high school students using several measures that were developed in order to assess each student's level of perfectionism, anxiety, career self-efficacy, and career indecision. Collected data from the students were analyzed with various types of analysis methods including descriptive analysis, descriptive analysis, and regression analysis. The result is as follows.
First, the study suggested that there was a partial correlation between perfectionism and career indecision after looking into the correlation between career indecision and the three factors(perfectionism, anxiety and career self-efficacy). At the same time, a significant positive correlation between anxiety and career indecision, and a significant negative correlation between self-efficacy and career indecision was proved.
Second, it turned out that students' personal standards had significant negative impact on their career indecision, whereas parents' criticism had significant positive impact. For the assessment of the impacts, simple regression analysis was carried out on the link between career indecision and sub-factors of perfectionism.
Third, anxiety had a significant positive impact on students' career indecision. Simple regression analysis was conducted on the link between career indecision and anxiety.
Fourth, only goal choice turned out to have significant negative impact on career indecision. For this, simple regression analysis was conducted on the link between career indecision and sub-factors of career self-efficacy.
Fifth, self-efficacy in terms of career decision-making served as a parameter in the relation between career indecision and perfectionism, and career indecision and anxiety respectively. Simple regression analysis was conducted for this. The above results suggest self-efficacy plays a significant role in making career decisions for high school students with a tendency toward perfectionism and anxiety.
