      A two paycheck couple become a universal social phenomenon, it causes the decrease in the number of children, improving the equalization between man and woman and improved self-realization' needs of women. Therefore, two of the biggest problems of the double income couples are child-birth and forster because of the nurture in Korea.
      For the child nurturing of the two paycheck couple, many work place established their own nursery center and provide nurture benefits. In addition, work places support various types of the nursery services such as supporting nursery fee, parental education, a method of child rearing.
      Teacher is one of the most important factors at the nursery center which owned by the company, because they are interacting with the babies and children at the nursery center. In addition, they should provide high level of nursery services because they provide the development of intellectual power, emotion and social abilities of children.
      To provide better nursery services through the amendment of nurture for the Babies and Children Act, it needs to check the actual condition of teachers of nursery center. Because, knowing the job satisfaction of the teachers may recognize the problems. High level of job satisfaction of teachers should give a good service for the children. Whereas, low level of job satisfaction of teachers causes low quality nursery service for the children. Therefore, job satisfaction of teachers is connected with the quality of nursery service for the children.
      The purpose of this thesis is to attempt to find the job satisfaction and attitude of teachers working at the nursery center owned by company in Seoul. After that, this thesis will find the effective factors of job satisfaction of the teachers. Finally, we will suggest ways of improving both the working condition and the system to give the high level of job satisfaction of teachers at nursery center.
      From the result of this thesis, it will suggest to improve both job satisfaction and high level of quality service of teachers of the nursery center owned by company.
      Firstly, According to the Korean law, standard working time is 8hour in a day. However, most teachers in nursery centers have overtime work without proper wage. Therefore, it needs to appropriate wage for overtime of the teachers at nursery centers.
      Teachers in nursery centers have different time schedule compared with office workers in general work place because teachers are working 9hours in a day including lunch time to support their babies and children. In addition, they frequently work overtime without any compensation. Therefore, it demands suitable salary based on the career.
      Secondly, it needs to mediate the ratio between teacher and children.
      The number of children at the nurture areas is closely connected with quantity of work. So, it means that more children require more charges of work. In addition, most teachers work over 10 hours in a day. Therefore, overtime work of teachers and ratio between teacher and child causes low quality of nursery services like an actual condition 1: 5 for 1years and below, 1: 7 for 2years and below, 1: 15 for 3years and over. In addition, if teachers have a lot of children, it causes a lower reciprocal action. Therefore, I suggest the ratio between teacher and child such as 1: 3 for 1years and below, 1: 5 for 2years and below, 1: 12 for 3years and over.
      Thirdly, the relationship between the president and the teachers is one of the important factors at the nursery center. The President supports the teachers in terms of communication skill and relation between children and teachers through leadership training and education.
      Fourthly, for the work environment and welfare of teachers, it needs to introduce double shift system a day and temporary and part time teachers to give benefit for.
      Fifthly, there should be support of the improvement of expertise for the teachers.
      All teachers have an opportunity of education or training for job stability and upgrading the quality.
      Sixth, qualification of the teachers in nursery center has to require reinforcement rather than the present condition. For that reason, it needs to extend curriculum at the college and education centers. In addition, Public and private nursery centers should demand social worker to provide administration service professionally.
      Seventh, there are promotion system of teachers. grade of teacher in this time consist of 3grade. In case of teachers who have a bachelor degree of nurture relate, they got a first grade automatically. Hence, it has to make new grade system to provide motivation to become vice president and president like a kindergarten.
      From the low birth rate in Korea, central government is concerned about the nurturing of babies and children. For that reason, recognition of the teachers in nursery center is better than the past days. However, teachers’ status in nursery center is worse than other education centers such as kindergarten, primary school and middle school teachers. Teachers at nursery center owned by company should receive full support to provide good nursery services through the improved job satisfaction of teachers.
      Finally, in my opinion, for the teachers having enthusiasm for nurture, I hope to improve social system and recognition for the important of nursery center.
